i have been trying to cap a sirokos as my first ship

at first, i did this as normal, lowering its sheilds, droping its HP fo aobut 5-10%, then sending in the marines

time after time i did, this and they got slaughtered, so i changed my stratagy

that is, i cheated, removed all its lasers, sheilds, Hull polerizing devices, internal lasers, Marines, Ect.

my 10*5Star marines STILL failed..

i keep hearing people talking about what level the marines are on Ect, am i missing somthing?

Thanks

Sirokos?? As in OTAS Sirokos?? As in the OTAS M7M Capture Specialisation Vessel with capacity for 30 marines?? I have never seen one of those floating around in vanilla...

Or do you mean the OTAS Skiron M6??? or the OTAS Aquillo M7???

IF you are talking about either the Aquilo or the Sirokos then you are probably to need more than 10 Marines.

when using scripts then you should ask in the appropriate forum, this isn't the right one....

i would have, if i had realized that this ship was added in by a script, as betty gave a voice for it, i thought it was in by default

Sides, its more of a general Boarding question than anything else, as it is a Vanilla (if not ingame) ship

It is available to buy in Vanilla after achieving OTAS Legend rep doing OTAS missions but is not found in the wild AFAIK.

No offence but once your game is not vanilla then you shouldn't be asking questions in this forum. there is a reason there is a scripts forum...

I'm just pointing out the obvious...

There's no particular problem with people running modified games asking questions in this forum.

Unless, of course, the question concerns an aspect of the game which has actually been modified. In that case, the question should be asked in the thread for the script or mod concerned.

In this particular case that would apply - since you can't board a Sirokos in vanilla, people who are running whichever mod are the only ones likely to be able to offer specific advice. That, or check one of the multitude of general boarding threads.
