Captain Pearle pick up bug?

Hello there,

I am searching this forums and am googling the internet the last couple of days because I am probably facing a bug with the Eyes and Ears mission. I have Captain Pearle at my ship and it still shows that I have to pick him up!

I must add that I had him on my Sabre when I initially picked him up and at some point I changed ships and he ejected to space. I picked him up with the new ship, admitably without paying attention to the mission, only to find out hours/days of game play later that I still have to pick him up and the mission didn't advance to "Travel to Family Zy(something)"

All my ships have Cargo Life Support System at the moment, I tried to pick him up with all my ships and nothing works and on top of it the guidance shows that I have to go to Family Nyj!

Anyone who can propose something?

By the way, I have updated X3-TC to the latest patch.

Sadly nothing.

The guidance ends there and shows me nothing.

Try deploying a satellite.

Did it already, by Special command or just by ejecting. Nada...

And I used both types of satelites.

Is there any way to reset the mission?

...I don't suppose there might be another Pearle in Family Njy? The mission may possibly have considered the one you hold as lost beyond recovery and created a new one, being my thinking...
