I agree with the necesity of adding debris to sectors like Cloudbase SW. I made my first couple mil in x3:R by mining rubble in CBSW with a few mercuries collecting and discos breaking. Coming into CBSW in your mod for the first time really turned me off to it when I realized how empty it was...I ended up reverting back to the Vanilla map file shortly thereafter and it's almost directly attributable to this issue

Also, sorry for bothering you again (I really shouldnt xD) but I saw that you cleared the annoying ad boards. Thats good. However, somehow some sectors are really missing it.
I m not talking about adding all those back where they were, rather like add only 1 in every sector, near the trading station. I guess that would be fair.

I vote against this. I oftentimes cant even get an ad-removal script going because of all the graphical lag.
I'm suggesting instead that if the ads are added, please note which sectors they are in, and avoid at least Argon Prime.

Also, I hinted it to be 1 board/sector, you probably were getting the lags because in vanilla TC, there are at least 6-7 boards/sector.

By murky you meen for, you could remove them yourself if you are familiar with using the galaxy editor. extract the map from the cat/dat, put it into a file called maps in the main dir, open the in-game galaxy editor, make the changes, put it back into the cat/dat.101010 wrote:Regarding sector backgrounds, I was wondering if there is a way to remove the murky ones such as Rolk's Fate and put the originals back in?

@spacefueladdict:I did try the in game galaxy editor and that did not seem to help. So what I did using your x3_universe.xml as a template I made myself a sector size only mod, by modifying the vanilla x3_universe.xml.
One thing though is I kept the unknown sector (Avarice) which of course dose not show up in the in game galaxy map. So I was wondering is there a line in the 00749.pbd file that I can edit so the sector shows up in game, and if so which line?

The oo749bod is a pain to edit, i haven't gottta clue how to do it, however 'Idea' very kindly volunteered to do it for me, i'm sure if you 'pm'd' him he would change it for you. Don't expect it to be done quickly as he is one of the major developers behind the 'DDTC Mod' and they are really busy atm.

Cmod3 For SSBM V1.0 Beta
This is a reworked version of Ulfius's & SS_T's excellent CMOD3, many thanks go to them both for allowing me to use this.
I have utilised the CMOD3 mod and increased weapons damage for use with SSBM (T-ship version).
Plasma Beam cannon is a medium range heavy weapon used on Argon M1-M2-M7's & Lasertowers (20% less damage than PPC, Limited turret use).
Tri beam Cannon is Paranid rapid fire anti fighter defence. Used on M6 and above, Limited turret use.
Phased Array Laser is Split rapid fire anti fighter defence, which ignores shields, Used on M6 and above, Limited turret use.
Fusion Beam Cannon is Terran rapid fire anti fighter defence, Used on M6 and above, limited turret use.
Also changes the following missile groups.
Aurora/Windstalker are now Light/Very Heavy unguided torps for Commonwealth bombers.
Wildfire/Banshee are now Terran Medium/Heavy Missiles
Hammerhead Is now Terran Unguided Heavy unguided torpedo for use with M6-M7-M7M-M1-M2
Beluga is now Terran unguided torp for bombers.
Please feel free to try this, and send as much feedback as possible so the necessary tweaks can be done.

all increased their shields. Why?? than it is now split differs from argon?
Why transports boards as a corvette?
what have you done with xenon M4? maximum speed of 90 - it is an outrage
why change all the missiles? necessary missiles were rubbish. a useless ships type M8 previously did not know how to fight, and now all garbage. and benefit from them now is not because large ships shields are now huge. previously from aircraft carriers was of little use. increase shields for large ships made them useless Claes ships. Why have a fleet of fighters support if there is 1 M2?
Why bullets given exorbitant rate - my CPU does not have time to process them - the bullets are flying through the target and not cause harm?

after the shot FAA has to wait 20 seconds when the sounds cease firing.
