Fight Mission Bug - Dont fight back

Hi,

Playing X3: terran conflict updated to 2.0 and been playing for about a week.

However, when I take a Fight mission from a person on a station, something like "kill this pirate as hes stolen all my money" Difficulty: Very Hard.

Ive gone to the priate and he shows as a friend. I attack and he never fights back. Never shows up as an enemy all the way till hes dead.

Kind of sick hearing the poor guy beg for mercy.

Is this a bug? Ive got tons of money from very hard missions and never had them fight back. Starting to make the game too easy.

Had a defend the station mission thou where they did fight back.
