Ship Piracy Menu Command: LazCorp Claim Derelict Ship

LazCorp has recently worked out a deal with all the major races in the Universe. They have upgraded all race "Navigational Command Software MK1" so pilots can claim ships with out having to purchase other upgrades. There is no fee associated with this upgrade because LazCorp wants to help ensure the safety of all pilots.

You do NOT need to purchase any other equipment from any race to use this upgrade except "Navigation Command Software MK1".

You MUST be within 10km of the targeted derelict ship to claim it. This software upgrade is NOT illegal.

PS: Yes, I know that Cycrow has already released a great Salvage Claim script and this is NOT meant to take away from him or his script in anyway. I simply do not want to travel around the Universe looking for this type of upgrade. So I made the script for myself and figured I'd release it for anyone else who wants to use it.

* Fixed Issue with claiming pirate ships that were not moving but still had a pilot. Non-moving pirate ships with a pilot are no longer claimable.

Do you mean ships with "no pilots" in them like after fights? Derelicts are usually the one that the game has sitting around, like shotup battleships and TL's from long ago fights. The salvage claim mod also made derelicts for you to get like freighters, etc...but I didnt know 'no pilot' ships were considered derelicts.

thanks, this was what i needed.

I had problems getting Cycrows one to work, this works well

two requests, could you add a hotkey, and have the claim button when you have a empty ship targeted, do this?

I will work on getting a hotkey setup for this command. I am not sure if its possible to to use the claim ship button (on the menu) but I will look into it.

Re-release of Version 1.02(a) which fixes an error within the script which allowed players to claim any targeted ship with the hotkey. (missed that issue during testing, sorry)!
