X3:TC Saitek X52 Pro Profiles?
Does anyone out there have a profile for the X52 Pro they'd be willing to share with me? I'd like to be able to fully utilize the stick, but since I don't quite know what functions are the most common yet I don't know what would be best.
Thanks!

To make this easier to find for anyone who does a search, Xerion404 posted a link to a profile at the bottom of the first page of this thread, and it is still working:

Thanks!

I haven't made one yet, but I will soon, just like you I am trying to work out what I need mapped to where before actually doing it. I'll try to remember to post it when I'm done if someone hasn't already offered up theirs.
IIRC in X3:R you had to untick the "Use throttle" checkbox in the "controller settings" page of the game launcher, to get the X52 to use the throttle rather than the slider. Probably the same for TC.

I finally have mine set up - for the most part. It took about 2 hours of assigning and re-assigning buttons. But it's set up for my own personal preferences that I got used to with X3. There are still quite a few buttons and knobs that aren't assigned to anything. It got to be almost too much, so I had to back off on a few things. Quicker for me to just hit a key on the keyboard for some things.
Didn't know the thing about the throttle checkmark. I use the Throttle controller in conjunction with the joystick, so many buttons available and no problems.
Good luck!

X52 Pro Profiles
Hi X'ers,
If you can wait untill Friday evening, I'm just putting the finishing touches to my X3 Reunion Profile - I'm updating it for use with TC.
I've only ever played X3 with my X52 Pro, and even though TC allows for a much better mouse mode (I have tried it and I do enjoy it too!) The X52 Pro is the way to go. Just now the profile needs to be much tighter in places as the 'quicker' new mouse mode takes some beating!
So just to let you know I'll just tweak my X3 R profile a touch and I'll put it up for all to sample. Its a biggy! all 3 modes used and all with 'pinkie' shift modes. Remember to set your keyboard mode back to the original default keys as I just use them for quickness and its easier as everyone will have the same layout. One point to make, I don't use the clutch settings in the control panel, as I like to have that button there as an extra multi button due to its nice positioning on the throttle.
Also if any one is interested, I have my X52 Pro LEDs set in a perticular colour config. So if you want to get used to my colour scheme while you wait for the profile, my LEDs are set as follows (set from control panel)
Fire = ON
Fire A = Green
Fire B = Green
POV 2 = Green
Fire D = Green
Fire E = Red
Clutch = Amber
Throttle = ON
T1 - T6 = All Red
Give it a try, I'm that used to it, I find when I see other X52 Pro's set to the default colours they look wrong!

Ok here is mine.
For it to work you will have to disable the clutch mode in the config screen.
Trigger = fire
Launch missile button = launch missile
Fire A = Change missile
Fire B = target under reticule
Fire C = Nearest enemy
Fire D = Boost
Fire E = autopilot
clutch = Brake
scroll wheel up = next target
scroll wheel down = previous target
press scroll wheel = match target speed (doesn't always work)
rotary 1 0-33% = escape
rotary 1 66-100% = dock with target/docking computer
PoV 2 up = wingman attack my target
POV 2 right = wingman protect me
POV 2 down = Actions for selected target
POV 2 left = seta
POV 3 = Strafe
Pinkie = enter
I just need to map the property and maps key's.
Here is the download link.

I will update the link with a new profile if i make any changes.
It works great together with the mouse on the throttle for selecting things on the hud you just need to aim right or the mouse flight engages.
Have fun with it.

anyone got a proper profile, maybe something like x52 pro to x3? all i want is flashing led's and what not.
yes everything works fine. I'm just frustrated that there's more functionality in x3 than there is in Terran conflictMad Ashy wrote:I've got my X52 Pro on order I cant wait. Does all the buttons and switches work in TC can they all be assigned? And are you able to work TC without taking your hands off the X52?

Im not getting any profiles to work. What am I doing wrong? I have disabled the clutch mode thing, and it helped in the regard that X, Y and Z axis seems to work fine, as is the throttle. But none of my programmed buttons.
Even the downloadable profile in this thread is not working for me. Are there any in-game settings that needs adjusting?
Regards,
Kronoz

A little help
Hello everyone,
I know its an old post but I need some help from guys
that managed to make a working profile with the x52.
Right now I'm trying to get the strafe buttons mapped to my x52 pro's
throttle hat, but i cant seem to get the diagonal buttons to repeat without
killing my cpu.
Seems it wont auto-repeat if a button has more than one key assigned to
it and the advanced command uses 50% of my cpu just to repeat WD
over and over....
Any workaround/suggestions/tips?
