Activation Help

I need help activating X3: Terran Conflict.

I am in the U.S. and have therefore gotten the game off Steam, and I have finished the predownloading. I cannot figure out what to do after this. I don't understand where this "tages" thing comes into play, I don't know where I'm supposed to get the CD key, if at all, I just don't understand what to do.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

You don't need a CD key. When you get asked about installing the drivers, just say yes and it will do the rest.

I had to double click on the game in the games menu for it to decrypt the game. Then I had to do a verify on the install to get the update, right click on the game and do a properties. Then click the tab labeled 'Local Files' then click the button 'Verify integrity of game cache...'

Just double-click the game. It will take several minutes to decrypt.
Then it will say that the game is ready to be started.
When you start the game, the tages box will come up, with a license keys already entered. Click ok to confirm. At some point tages will ask to connect to servers for activation. Allow it to connect. Then game will start.
