i'd like to inform peoplpe that Xpressed shipyards are now building and working on alot of ships and stations for New horizons
Our friends are rich and we love it, and it makes us look wealthy too

  • MOD "New Horizons" Beta v.1.09 compatible X3 v.2.5

  • The aim of this Mod is to provide you with the opportunity to become independent of the main races - except the Teladi race – should you chose to do so.
    Forge an alliance with the New Race and the Teladi, get or buy your personal HQ and/or use the recommended optional scripts to have your own SY and EQD. Build and secure your new Trade Empire or become a true Pirate and fly Xenon or Yaki ships.
New Horizons is fully compatible with X3 vanilla plots, including Bala-Gi. There are also 5 custom starts available. These custom starts provide you with the opportunity to find and buy the HQ and Bala-Gi's ships, and offer different and original contents from main map.

NH Mod is available in Czek - English – French


This new 1.09 version is fully compatible with your NH Mod saves. No need for restart! :)


  • NEW features in this 1.09 version:
New enhanced X3 ships featuring:

- Military TL's to "fill the gap" between Current TL and M1
- Teladi improved TL (the "Conveyor") and a M6+
- New variants slightly improved of current M6's
- Goner M6 which is the military version of the Truelight Seeker
- New class of Heavy TS Super Freighter
- Improved Xenon M3, M6 and a new M7 light Frigate with docking capabilities, as well as a powerful M1
- There is a hidden SY in the galaxy in which all these mighty new Xenon ships are available...
- Integration of ulfius’ Military HUD Mod which enhance significantly the fighting gameplay. For more details about the great features included, >>> Click here <<< - Courtesy of ulfius. Please, note that this add-on will be available in a separate NH Mod to be downloaded in .spk format.


  • Scripts
Two Cycrow's scripts are installed in this Mod:
- Xenon Migration to increase Xenon activity
- Salvage Claim software to be able to claim abandoned ships

Please, note that Xenon Migration script will use the new improved Xenon Ships. Be cautious while selecting the options. We recommend the “Auto Difficulty” option, which will spawn different kind of ships depending to your Fighting rank. However, choice remains yours!

Quick question about the NH mod.
Is there a plot involved with this mod, or is it just a bigger sand-box to play in?

NH Mod v.2.0 Trailer

  • NH Mod Team is now developing an enhanced version of "New Horizons" Mod. This will be the 2.0 version to be released pretty soon.
Many new items are going to be added:

· New sectors and new trade lanes
· New ship classes and new ships
· Specific weaponry
· New race rebalanced in order to trade effectively with much more profitsss to make
· Two major scripts built by Azz and BenIsra will really put much more life in the Universe. They will enhance your gameplay, but will not unbalance the game
· Custom starts will be even more meaningful than before
· More BBS


I will not tell you more at this stage, but in the meantime, please have a look to this NH Mod Trailer made by exogenesis.


You will have a good flavor of what might happen soon. Fly towards New Horizons pilots! The story is just starting now!

Do you want to chose which Splash Screen and what Loading Pics will be used by NH Mod for future v.2.0?

hey just wonderin if the Apocolypse(new horizon mod) has any form of super weapon as it would be a shame if it doesnt?from appearences any ways??

The Apocalips is a ship that can destroy most stations or large ships with one or two shots. It will however need a large escort due to it's close to no defences, and because the weapon takes time to charge.

The Apocalypse is designed specifically to carry the Super Weapon. However, since some people have trouble figuring out how to operate this weapon, I'm in the process of writing operating instructions on its use. It's simple enough really, but because its a custom weapon, it doesn't work quite the same way vanilla weapons do. This is true for any custom weapon in X3 which doesn't use the standard existing weapons slots.

Guys I have a question. I started a new game with this mod, playing the trader start. However, I found a new ship that I fly myself, and I want to set my original ship as a UT. The option is greyed out...so I can't use it...and I am positive I have all of the required items to use UT. Any suggestions?


EDIT: The ship says it comes with Trade software mk1, and when I try to buy it it says it's already installed, but it doesn't show up on my software list.
EDIT2: My trader ship still says I'm the pilot, so I cannot see what level the real pilot is.
