i musta had a new version of drivers already as i installed it straight off the cd

Figured it out. It was simple, as usual.

When you are doing the config part in the Logitech control panel, and you input 9003 as the log file, if you hit the "close" button, it will reset it to 0000.

You have to click on the "Set to Foreground" button.

For clarification sake, on your install, you might want to mention that you need the location of the x3.exe file, instead of the directory, in case people do not browse, and just type it in. (From what I've learned, the properties box on the Logitech config needs the exe file location).

yeah its the exe it needs, it was jsut a way to make sure the directory was correct.

as for the close button, ill have to look at that, it should save the port as well

Info Request. I use the Bank Account script with auto money transfer. Seeing the amount in the bank would be helpful.

if you dont have a g15, then it wont do anything for you.


Mobuj, im not going to add stats for other scripts, however, i am going to add the ability for any scripts to add custom stats. so the author of the bank account scripts could add it to display easy enuf

might have to go into task manager and kill the old problem before installing.

I installed v1.10 but only get the original info.

First: Thanks to Cycrow , great work

My Problem:
does anyone knows if it works correctly with the german X3-Version ?
I got some problems to start it.

I installed it and the Logitech LCD-Manager show it correctly (first screen - No Game Found).
I´ve copied the logitech_scripts.spk into my scripts-folder.
But when i start the Script-Editor i can´t find anything to enable it ?

Is there anything i´m doing wrong or doesn´t it work with the german-version ?

Mobuj, try making sure the old version is not running when u install the new one, goto task manager and close X3LCD.exe

then install it, and the new one should start running.

strichacht, the scripts need to be installed, not copied, you use the Script Manager to install the spk file

(only the german letters ä,ö,ü doesn´t work .. but thats not really a problem )

edit:
on the first statsscreen i got -2 Ships and on the second screen i got M5: -9,
that must be the hidden ships i´ve sold.
I there anyway to change it ? Ok it´s not really a problem, but it would look better without an -

Found out why it doesn't work... in the config of the log file number field it says 00000 when you chance it to 9003 it works for a second or two but then the program chance it to 09003 and it doesn't work any more.

If you press the close button it goes back to 00000, if you hit the set to foreground it works for those 2 seconds before it chance the log number to 09003... any advice how to force the program not to chance the log number on it's own?

I've been contemplating getting a new keyboard recently and was looking at the G15 just before Cycrow posted here. There does seem to be quite a hype about this keyboard.
But before i go rushing out to get one, does it live up to expectations?
