This script adds a new peice of software avilable from all good pirate bases.
The upgrade is the Pirate Base Locator.

This will allow you to find where the priate bases currently are.
There are 2 commands available, fin dthe closest or find all pirate bases.

The commands will cost you to use them, 5'000 credits to find the closest, 20'000 credits to find all of them, the commands are found in the piracy menu
when you have upgrade installed on your ship.
There is also a hotkey available for each command.

Assigning Hotkey:

To use the 2 hotkey commands you first need to assign keys to them, this is found in the controls menu at the bottom of the interface tab.

100k per use sounds fair. But if you do that, you should change it to a variable to look up any kind of station as well.


You'd have to have a pencil and notepad ready to scribble down all the locations. Either that, ot it'll cost you another 100k. ;)

What pirate would be so careless as to let this out in the open?

It should be a communicator, something descrete, and you can make a perfectly innocent arrangement to "meet for a chat" at a certain station nearby. Only then should you get the info.

You should also be able to pay more to get a guide to the station, he can go in an m4 and you follow. Of course, local police should be semi hostile to that, and you may have to hope he isn't killed (you dont want to annoy the police do you?)

Is there a way to use it without EMP? (I did not mean to use scripts in my first game, but since finding the respawned pirate bases is such a pain, I would like to use this one!) :D
Or maybe a 'false patch'?

whats the problem with using EMP then ?

and the only way to use it without EMP owuld be to use it was Custom Wares in the Plugin Manager

I read the EMP thread (well the beginning and the end) and can't figure out what changes EMP make to the game and at the end someone mentions an incompatabillity with the 0.7 update (which I want to install after finshing my first game)

all EMP does is add new wares into the game for scripts to use. Without it, scripts wont be able to create new wares.

as for incompatabillity, that someone is wrong, XTM includes EMP already

Help! I can't download this file, all three links are broken! I desperately want it though...

And on a related note, I'd like to report the same problem with the bounty hunter's guild script...
