1st unknown sector by maelstrom... looking for 2nd... Any Advice?
:?Im looking for the free nova by maelstrom but I cant even find the 2nd sector ... is there any unrude tips that anyone could give me

The gate is to the west, off the visible map and not at all easy to locate. Just keep plugging away at it. Without triplex scanners you may as well give up, so go get triplexed up if you're not already.
There are co-ords around for that gate, but I recommend searching for it yourself.

I thought maelstrom was the sector to the south of the teladi sector, then you had to go east once (which is where I thought you said you were), then south.
Ah well. The easiest way (albeit slow) is simply to wait for a gonar ship to come along. There is one that flies right to the sector that has the nova in.

Its a soputh gate, but located more Sw of the sectod center.
If you fly south, until your scanner range hits the edge of teh standard map, then turn west, you should see it, but be careful about your up/down valye, must be within 30 either way or you wont see the gate.
If you miss it, just do a methodical search pattern across the bottom left quarter of the map.
The y co-ord is usually why you miss it.
