fridge control - which is colder - higher number or lower?

Post by pixel » Sun, 29. Jan 06, 20:42

I dont have a manula for my fridge, but the controls knob goes:

7
6
5
4
3
2
1
0

which is coldest? I had it on 6 but I dont think it is really cold enough, but logically the higher the number the colder it is right? :gruebel:

thanks

Thats what I wouldve gone for. If it's got a circular dial, then logic would suggest just turn it clockwise!

You could always just turn the dial either way until it clicks on or off... :p

Pixel the temp in the fridge should be between 1 and 4 degrees C to chill contents correctly. If it's not getting that cold, it might need a top up of refridgerant gas.
What no sig or avatar. I wonder why?:(

Note that Budweiser requires an exact temperature of 4 deg C in order for you not to be able to taste what you are drinking. This is a useful fridge test, although it may be painful along the way.
