X3RPM - X3 Remote Property Management - v0.7 - 2005-12-08
Allows you to view and manage your empire without being at the computer running X3. Pipes all your X3 info over a web server for all to view and revel at. Totally awesome!

The Syndicate - Version 1.0 - 2005-11-11
The first and best custom galaxy available for X3, it starts the player as a member of the Daigon Syndicate, located in a prime, central location in the X3 universe, with a station, freighter, and fighter. The Syndicate also includes many new sectors, such as Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto, with many more in the works, as well as an upcoming campaign for the player to work through.

Headquarters and Flagship Command Set - WIP
Will allow for the management and self-care of an entire empire with little input from the player. Will include a hired company manager who gets paid to outfit, protect, and manage your factories, docks, and freighters on his own. Currently a work in progress.

Create an asteroid field - 2005-12-23
Allows the user to create a varying field of asteroids (big and small) based on a set of input parameters. Makes very pretty fields, used exclusively for the Syndicate Mod.

Add/Set Notoriety - 2006-01-09
Now there's an easy way to add or set an exact amount of notoriety, no matter what condition the notoriety is currently at. These scripts will add or set as exact of a notoriety boost as possible with the scripting engine.

This is a basic absolute value script. It returns an always-positive value with the same magnitude as the argument.

I picked the 5th one not because i want to send you to hell but because

i thought that it was funny.I've done it on tests too, even when i knew it

A Google search shows that the only country to hand out a medal of high esteem by Congress is the United States of America.

Ergo, it would be the "Congressional Medal of Honor" sans the "u". Well, that and you have to be a native US Citizen to receive one, too, as well as have served with incredible distinction in the US Armed Forces.

My apologies if I seem a bit stuffy about it. It is a great honor and one I hold in the highest esteem. A person sacrifices a lot to receive one and it should not be cheapened in my opinion.

Infact drop it, this is S + M not OT and as much I i'd like to take my sabre to NE for use of leet speak (a personal hate of mine). This thread seems to have a purpose and therefore i'd rather not be forced into locking it.

Any further flame/rant/bitching/whatever posts in here that are unrelated to the actual script(s) will be dealt with, don't test this!

Anywho, to answer the question a few posts up, I am still working on the headquarters script set, and it is coming along pretty well, but right now it is not my top priority. My curent project list is as follows with priority rated 1-5, 5 highest:

- X3RPM - 5
- XSE - 3
- The Syndicate - 4
- Headquarters / Flagship - 2
- COAST - 1

Now naturally, this is not the exact order I am working on things, as I get easily distracted and like to switch targets after a bit of time (you can't tell, right? ;)). However, that is the probable general order in which things will be worked on, and probably the order in which updates will be made.

Ive been trying to figure out this script for the past hour

Set Exact Notoriety - http://x.leetcode.net/x3/lib/nuke.lib.notoriety.set.xml

I put it in, ran it.

First- <Null> or <Select Ship or Station> (my ship is not an option so I leave it Null)

Then it shows the "Execute Command Script" page, showing the script's name and the 3 arguements.

Second(Host Race)- <Null> or <select race>

Third(Target Race)- <Null> or <select race>

Fourth(reset amount)- <Null> or <number>


I put in argon for host race, argon for target race, and the reset amount I just started putting in numbers.

The thing is, NOTHING I did did anything. no matter what I put in, there were no changed at all.

Heeeeeelp please. :( I want to raise my notoriety to the best I can with Argon. how do I do that?

Theres a script in the cheats set that does this. You simply enter a numnber and it adds it on to the race you specify.

nuke;s librarys are really for scriptors to use in there scrits
and if you all you want to do is raise ur notoriety to really high then use the Cheat Scripts.

also what your doing is setting both races as Argon which wont actaully do anything, you have to set one as the player race and the other as Argon

To specifically answer your question:

Use:
- Null for the 1st arg
- Argon for the 2nd arg
- Julian/Your Name for the 3rd arg
- 1,000,000 for the last arg

OR just use the actual cheat scripts. While my libraries work perfectly well for this task, they are generally targetted for and more usefull in actual scripts that create campaigns and such.
