I am currently playing around with a mod, and I was wondering if it is possible to restrict ships in X3AP to be player only? I was originally hoping to use these ships in the vanilla game, and was having some progress in extracting them, but I fell at trying to get the turrets and some of the engine effects to work. I was wondering if anyone could point me to guides that would help me either edit these effects and turrets to work or how to change the ships used by vanilla races. Even better, if anyone would be willing to help me with the project, I would be much obliged!
