Hmm, I can't demand a password reset because the captcha isn't working.

Re-added the search box, forgot I took it off when changing the template. I've added the X Rebirth part of nexusmods to the search box so you can search for x rebirth mods via my site.

I don't know why the captcha is not working, I will try to fix it soon. But for now if you want to register or lost your password please ask me and I can add/change your account.

EDIT: Fixed the captcha, it was a problem I had last year and I just remembered about how to fix it. It was probably caused by the update to the core component

I've been working on adding x3 reunion and x2 the threat 'system' icon to their corresponding download entries. So now when you go to the 'All Mods' list you can see what game they are compatible for.

And talking about that list, i've done some more work to it. Be warned it is VERY BIG and does take time to load as it includes all the available downloads on XDownloads:

In chrome I wasn't able to click the OK button after editing a mod, it was obscured by some other element. Worked ok via IE though.

Is uploading temporarily down? You're probably adding new features again. ;)

The site appears to accept my upload (Freight Drone Transfer) but the file never appears on my mod list.
  • You remember the issue with the Description Editor not keeping carriage returns? I think the issue is CR's vs LF's (Line Feeds). If I paste from a Windows text file into the editor, then it loses the carriage returns. If I manually enter the CR's into the editor, then they "stick" properly.

I can't find your file on the server at all, did a test upload to see if there is any problems and it worked all right. Could you try again please.

OK, I just tried again and no joy.

Is there a difference between the "Upload Mod" button and the "Submit File" button when beginning an upload? I tried it both ways without success.

EDIT: Oooh, I got a successful upload by mistake! I was trying to see if I could get the Description editor to work better with pasted text and tried the small gray "send file" button right next to the "Clear Fields" button. It worked!

If that is supposed to be the "Submit" button (rather than the great big orange button that says "Submit"), then perhaps it would be less confusing to make it more visually distinctive?

Regarding the Description editor, could you let us just use plain text in order to solve the problem with line breaks? At least as an option?
  • Personally, I would never use the fancy formatting anyway. Maybe that is just me.

I thought the format stripping problem was fixed months ago, but unfortunately even the plain editor would still be a problem. Its actually the jdownloads component which is at fault.

I can't actually reproduce this bug on either Chrome, Firefox 24 or Firefox 28.

I've given you more permissions to see if it fixes it.

Update on the line feeds: I posted a new file, and the line feeds were messed up again when initially posted. I then edited the Description, and the line feeds remained correct after the edit.

Awesome page :D Great work, have saved me many times when links have been broken

..was actually thinking to do something like that myself for Reunion but no need now :P

I was planning to start to upload files from mods that is not on your page, so I registered, but I can't log in. Used the email link but nothing happen. What did I do wrong? cant register again either, saying email is used or something.

I have same user name as I have here.

Just a concern, I have seen many pages/links come and go, do you have plan to stick around for some time :?:
