And the sweets just keep on getting sweeter. :star:

The USC M3B Falchion looks a bit like the Xperimental shuttle in a way, but the way cool side of such 'way'. :D

Ship: GSS Valkyrie Knight (Apricot Vidasaurus)
Fighting Rank: Battlemaster
Trading Rank: Super-Magnate
Can I ***modified*** the ding dong weather too?

Why name the USC version the Morrigu?

Looks like the USC M6 class and smaller used name of swords.
Then they use Japanese cities for their capital class.
Of course the scabbard and Baldric were objects that covered.
and the goddess name fits what it's carring.
Because it's his ship / creation? You can change it btw fairly easy in your own game to whatever you want by adjusting the t-file.

Why name the USC version the Morrigu?
I found some names in the text lists that has Betty speech files connected to them but wasn't used ingame. Morrigu being one of them, thought it would have to do since i was saving the Falchion for a fighting ship and Excalibur was too grand a name for a TM. But nevermind I just found Macana, so I'll use that in the next update.

I think you're doing a great job Cadius.

I thought the name was fitting as a lot of the other Terran ships have Japanese names.

I like that new fighter. Looks like plenty of engines to handle some one-on-one with the Xenon fighters!

I see why.. now.
It was just a point of interest..

So it was the sound files that dictated your decision.

But I applaud your modding skills and methods for the naming.

(been a number of years since I used AutoCad & 3D Studio Max [dos version]. to create visual models. I have forgotten so much.

Another update

M7 - Hakata class support frigate

The Hakata support frigate is a multirole M7 with a considerable cargo space and docking bays. It is mainly used to support fleet operations, be it as a pocket carrier, a repair and resupply point for fighters on patrol or to salvage wrecks after a battle (especially if playing with NPC bail script).

Once again, thanks to Lc4Hunter for the base mesh

You sure know how to kick the door down when you make an entrance, don't you !! :o

This one has "Utility Ship" written all over it, no fancy curves, Just built to perform a function. Again, the shape of this ship, like your others, fits its purpose exactly, IMHO !! Great stuff.

EDIT: Just what is the docking capabilities if this ship ? (Pls, fingers crossed, let it have a unique ability. Something totally unexpected maybe ?)
It needs a piece added to the description "The Captains of these ships are specially chosen for thier pride in not that thier ship has sleek curves, but rather, they know they can do what others can't!"
END EDIT:

@ Lc4Hunter, this is directed to you too, Wonderful work

i'm thinking internal docking for around 20 fighters, external for 2 TS/M6 and 1 M1/2. It's not a huge ship but i think thats the best way to simulate a repair ship. Wonder if theres a repair docked ship script somewhere, it'll be perfect for this

marine repair script it has a repair docked function, although as it implies, you need marines to do it, but im sure you can fix that problem somehow

I think I just developed a physical need for the Hakata. That is one sweet ship!

Yes but in the case of the larger ships they would have their own marines to repair the ship and wouldn't need a dedicated repair ship.

On a different note! Cadius, would you be willing to remodel the USC M1 and TL class ships? I always thought these ships were ugly and didn't quiet match the rest of the USC ships, mostly because they weren't symmetrical and they were just basically creamy/white all over, unlike the other ships which would have red or black patterns on the hull.

Same with the M2, but i did like the design of that ship, i just thought it looked too bland and featureless because of it all being just white all over.

In that case it would involve the author of the script making modifications himself, OR a new script being made especially for this M7 utility ship.

OR you could just use the same system that works aboard the Goner Mobile Repair Ship!! :D

*sigh*

i wasnt hinting at using the script as is, or even putting in terran marines, all i was sayin was "heres a script with docking repairs, cannibilize it for yourself :)"

Exactly, what i meant was you'd need the authors permission to "cannibalize" the script.

theres nothing wrong with looking at it and drawing upon ideas on how to proceed....

I agree on this point. The USC carrier is OK, but that the Mobile Mining Ship looks exactly like it. It doesn't look like a ship that should be mining.

A modifixation to the OSAKA would be nice.

And the Lifter looks like a flying letter "H" as if it was an afterthought.

I like the USC M1 and M2, I do agree with you on the TL. Both USC TLs don't look capable of carrying their storage space and the Lifter can't dock at stations without ramming through 4 stories of living quarters.

I'll ask Tatakau about the repair script, I also think i would make sense if repair costs resources like hull platings or teladianium. But still I have no scripting knowledge, so at least for the next version you'll just have to play with a little self-control.

Cadius, can your ship pack be used with X3 Terran Conflict? I have it downloaded but I'm only running TC for now.

Thanks for posting pics. These ships look great to me.
