[MOD] PSCO1's CockpitMod v1.33 for X3TC v3.1 (update: 13.09.2014)

I know it's a bit late but Welcome Back!, you are one of the Legends of X3 by now since almost every mayor mod uses your cockpits..
But i really wanted to see some different green textures for the boron ships, since they seem to be flying argon ships from the inside. Only complain i have (yep, i mostly use boron ships, that's another reason to hate rebirth). Love your work, big fan.

Heya PSC01,
I used your cockpits for a long time. I can tell you put a lot of work into them, and they add a ton of immersion.
I do have a question, though: Is there any chance of getting improved textures at some point? You have some real skill at laying things out, but some of the older textures clash with the outside universe.

Like I said on older posts, Iam not a "pro" of 3d modeling, I work with simple shapes and I probably use 1 or 2% of the features of 3dsmax
I prefer to let Boron cp's projects for the moment and try to focus on all others race cp's, I think the Boron shapes will ask me an "advanced" skill at 3d modeling, I ve a little idea for a "global" boron shape but it's just an idea Ive in my mind
But it's not the reason I don't like Boron ships, I like Boron ships and it's frustrating for me when I see they still use the Argon cp's

You are not the first to ask me for better textures, since long time I keep this in my mind, but for me, using Hi-Def DDS textures "enlarge the feeling" of the size of the cp (sry I can't traduce better)
The old jpg textures are very good for little cp's and they have perfect sizes, they work with Mat6, shaders, self, bump and the render ingame is not so bad I think, but you know, It's my point of view
I try to use DDS textures when I work on "electronics" parts of the cp but I use only a tiny part of the total size of the texture
I can't apply DDS textures on all parts of the cp, the render is bad for my opinion, you know this, DDS textures are used for ships, stations etc
For me, DDS textures should be better for big cp's like M7's TL's M1 M2 etc...
But if you don't like a specific part of a cp or other thing, post a picture here, 1- my english is far to be perfect 2- I can't read you have in mind exactly almost time
EDIT: I will rework the transparency of the Split red huds

TS and TP have another missiles screen in front of the pilot now

Thanks so much for making this. I used to play X2 for a while and recently decided to get into X3:TC, but was terribly disappointed to see the game without cockpits. This makes the game feel much more immersive!
Just one questioned: you have files for download at the start of the forum, but they were last updated in 2011. I've noticed that you have mentioned that you've added things to the mod since then. Is there another place I can download the newest version or is the one at the top the forum still the most recent?

Is this mod compatible with Steam achievements? I mean, does it mark the game as *modified* or not? Which of the versions are and which not? And which ones got the glass tints and possibly only removed radar, with other HUD on place? I heard it isn't clickable, tu HUD info on the monitors, so I couldn't control some elements directly which could cause some pain to me

This mod modify few scene files for adjusting cp positions and the body of ships, sadly all versions of the mod make the game "modified", sorry :/
