edit : SS_T , in the future this mod can use the factory from X2? [ For me these factory are better ....better for this mod...better regarding X3/TC's factory ]

if I understand the question correctly, in these early versions I don't plan on changing any stations. In future version maybe.

Also many of you have played the latest x1pf beta 2.0 mod, what do you think to the mod?

EDIT:
I forgot to add a how to install guide into the X1PF TC mod, so here is a step by step guide:
  • Open the install program
  • Install into a preferably clean x3tc directory
  • Go to the x3tc directory
  • Rename the 're_name me.cat' and 're_name me.dat' so that they would be the highest number cat number.
  • then play!

If you have any problems don't be afraid to ask!

Array error (I suspect)

Not sure why, but 125 Shields are showing as read-text**** in my wares lists. Also, oddly enough, certain ship names have "125MJ shield" appended to the end of their name. For example, the Argon Shipyard in Omicron Lyra sells "Elite 125MJ Shield"s. This is possibly a problem with my installation since I have already heavily modified my game. I still thought I might bring it to your attention just in case it is a general problem.

I still have EMP installed as a false patch. Could this be a conflict with EMP?

did you have a previous install of x1pf mod, before installing beta 2.1? if so there might of been a old text file still there.

if you had the emp or rrf installed before installing the x1pf mod, then you upgraded to beta 2.1 those two script/libary won't work you will need to install them manually!

but the emp mod *should* still be ok as it is in a fake patch

do you plan on adding any custom M1 M2 and M7 ships? ships that could be race independent? i always like to have the option of buying a super overpowered ship that i can take on to xenon Js with.

I'm not planning for any overpowered ships, I will try and keep a balanced mod. sorry.

Custom M1, M2 or M7 ship will probably come in the future.

Ok, an update. Just like the other projects I have picked back up over the last couple of months, I have been wanting to continue with this.

I haven't updated the OP yet, so a lot of old ideas there which I want to get rid of :roll: , but I have updated the change log and added a need to do list. Once I have uploaded and released the mod (tommorow), if you find any problems or any ideas please feel free to say something and I will add it to the to do list.

I'm sorry for so little updates to this, here's a pic of my experimenting:

Ok as promised here is the latest version of the mod:
X1PF Beta 3.1

I say this mod is beta, but I believe it is less polished than that. If you seen my other mods you would have notice that I don't like just developing stuff and keeping it to myself until its perfect. I get bored of it very quickly, especially when I don't play the games any more. That's why I would like anyone who tries it to report back to give me suggestions and feedback on bugs ect.

Frustrating patch this time, many thing I didn't like. However here it is....

X1PF Beta 3.5 Released March 10 2011
Added / Changed:
* Added x2 boron TS ship (In game, but I can't remember how good the animation was in x2. But in x3 it looks c***)
* Worked on XBTF map styling (Couple of sectors)
* Made argon m6 lensflare smaller (looks slightly better)
* Need to edit shield texture (better)
* Tried out new cloud texture (May change it back)
* Fixed xbtf message coming up even when playing a normal start (still comes up :evil: )

I did get a CTD while playtesting, I wasn't doing anything unusual just shooting a ship with IRE's for a while. I hope it is nothing serious. If you have a CTD while playing for 10 min+ please tell me.
