Original X3 Reunion script thread. Quite abit of discussion there.

This script simply removes a selected resource from your single factory (no complex). The command is found under Station Commands. You will be charged a fee for this, based on a simple formula:

X number of days * product cycles per day * resources used per cycle * average resource price


Upon activating the command you'll receive a message asking you which resource to remove. If you find the cost too little/much simply open the t file (7520-L044.xml) and change the number at the bottom (id=410). It is currently at 48 (48 gamehours). U can change that value to whatever you deem fit. Some figures based on 48 gamehours:

Thank you! I already made a super plex with 100 + stations and it was a pain in the arse.
I'm planning on making another one and this will save me a new monitor and a broken fist. :D

Hey, Loaded your script and tried it out on a solar power complex, the need for resources went away but all production stopped and would not start again. i used it on the complex and not the individual power plants before i combined them, would that cause this problem?

Hi, u gotta do it b4 u complex the station up. Or break the complex up.

BTW a new version is coming up which allows u to remove specific resources from a station instead of the whole lot. A feature I've been wanting since TR.

Hi,

I've downloaded your scritp, v205, and instead of text in the command menu i god Readtext...

I've checked your script and file setup.arcana75.rff is missing one line in the beginning

Hello, i was wondering if anyone could help with some tips to make a script similar to the one made by arcana for resource free factories, or has this script in a non spk format. Im a mac user and cant use the spk files XD.

I take it you can unzip rar files on a mac?

I've never used a mac so forgive my ignorance.

Nice little script, thanks. I did however change this to not only remove it from primary but to then add it to secondary so that you can help keep the game economy alive still. Just thought I would drop the idea here...

okaaay. this thread is quite old. no wonder, as is the game.
i just started playing again last week, so let'S see if someone get'S to read this...

Is there any way or guide that helps converting those scripts to non.english versions?
In my case german. I don't mind english ingame text, but right now, it doesn't work at all, only shows some readtext lines after trying to start it.

the idea of not removing but making it secondary ressources is great, any chance to get that as well? :)

In my case german.
Download the zip-folder linked in the OP and have a look at the text files in the "t" folder. Each textfile ends with a language number L0xx.xml which stands for a certain language. 44 is english, 49 is german. Rename each file, so it ends with L049.xml. Afterwards open each t-file with a text editor and change the language id from 44 to 49, too. Save the files afterwards. That's it.
Another possibility would be to use Cycrow's Cheatpackage, which enables you to add and remove products and resources of factories. In the german forum you can also find a german textfile for that.

Hi Arcana75.

I have used this excellent script in many versions of my games - thanks.

I am now planning to play XTC and have checked this thread to make sure I have the latest version.

I intend to manually install scripts and note that your download is entitled Superbox.zip. I use a PC ..... so....is this still the correct one to use?

Also, do you know if this script is compatible with XTC?

The script was updated to a compatible state for Egosoft's launch of their Superbox which was some boxset containing many scripts, tools and conversions as well as all the Egosoft X titles at that point.

I cannot recall if Superbox contained XTC but if it did then yes the script would be compatible up to any prepatched state. And yes it would be for PC.

Although I do seem to recall playing Terran Conflict with my scripts.
