Hi LV, thanks for sharing your great scripts with us!

I had one small problem: When I did my first flight my game crashed when I picked up a dropped cargo container from a fighter in a deathmatch. Might it be, that it's somehow forbidden to pick up cargo or claim bailed fighters? Even so I should not crash, right?

The only special thing was that I had already remote guided warheads in my cargo hold when I picked up that one, that's why I have not been able to reproduce it yet.

Another thing I noticed is that the sector map showed two pieces of dropped cargo without a name after the very first fight. When I clicked on "display them in a window" only the window frame appeared.

I have the following mods: complex cleaner, SRM 1.08, hull pack and CMOD 4

EDIT: I did some more testing. After docking at the Arena HQ, quiting and relaoading: As soon as I call up the sector map the game crashes. Also when i jum out then come back it still does not let me open the sector map. Is there some kind of logging which can be enabled to find what's casusing it?

EDIT 2: Even after DMA is disabled: As soon as I call up the sector map in that sector, my game crashes. Might it happen due to corrupted ware floating in that sector?

EDIT3: Started the hole thing over again and after a few fights I cannot open the sector map without crash anymore. Maybe an imcompatibility with the EMP mod version in SRM?

I know this is bit of a thread necro but does anyone know the money progression system.

The further I go the less money I seem to get rewarded, playing on medium up 4th stage killing a batch of M8's reward- 4mil

stage after- 15mil

stage after again- 1mil


All in the same yokohama. Is there someithng iam missing that is causing the odd drops in money, i know the later levels took quite a long time to complete but I can see no mention of that being taken into account.

I've been playing with this mod for years and has always worked great. When I reinstalled and upgraded the game to 3.2 TC the Odin's body becomes mostly invisible, they were never like this in the other games. Any of the other M1/M2's show up fine save this one particular ship:

I love this addon, it's absolutely amazing!

I've been using it for the past week or so, and everything was fine until 2-3 hours ago...

I had accidentally forgot my escort wing of M2's on "Attack Target Of..." orders, and I selected the DMA HQ for another match. All 3 ships decide to blast a couple of broadside volleys, cutting about 40% of the shields and making the HQ very angry and red.

I managed to (eventually) stop them from attacking... I gave a stop command but b/c it was labeled as "Enemy" they'd re-engage right away, and move-to orders were useless. I jumped all ships out, jumped myself out too, yadda yadda yadda...

Now the HQ won't give me any missions. :( what's going on?

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out what happened. I accidentally locked DMA when I was setting up RRF. *dumbface*

I, too, am getting crashes 90% of the time I try to open the sector map during a deathmatch (and sometimes in a sector where a deathmatch has occured shortly before).

If none of this info is any help, please AT LEAST tell me how to re-enable salvage insurance during the deathmatch, because I am absolutely sick of making it to late stages in a DMA only to crash because I tried to open the sector map by instinct or when trying to jump to the sector's gate then having to do it all over from scratch.

Edit: tried re-installing everything from scratch with what I suppose was the best load order, still crashing when opening the sector map.

It's a shame, because this mod is by far the most fun one, but these crashes are starting to piss me off royally.

Edit2: Also, might be worth checking if the specialist ship script is functioning properly. I've had several deathmatches where I got over 100 million credits earnings yet whichever race's specialist ship I chose gave me only M5 class ships...

Also, one more thing: is there any way you can reduce the chance of the game picking OWPs for the 5th wave. It picks OWPs as the enemy carriers 99% of the time, and it is getting annoying. In all the 40-50+ times I got to level 5 in an Xtreme DMA, I had only ONE wave of carriers that didn't have an OWP.

Not because fighting OWPs is difficult, in fact it is much easier than regular M1 ships, the problem is that it takes FOREVER to take large OWPs down (at least XRM ones) and it is incredibly BORING.

And when it spawns more than one M1 (or should I say OWP), the other one is ALWAYS a terran Odin, for some reason. I'd really like to fight other M1s, for a change.

Sorry if I seem upset, this really is THE most fun script, it's just I'm sick of those crashes and the annoying obligatory OWP fight is just adding insult to injury.

in the past i was using this script also for X3 TC but had to let it go because of crashes .. in particular crashing while opening sectormap as mentioned before. But i had a lot of fun with this script when it wasnt crashing.

What i would really like to see is a rewrite of this script for 1 specific unknown sector. So a more streamlined battle version.

I miss this script from the good olden days of TC.
I'm now playing Albion Prelude and sadly your Script is incompatible due the range of commands used.

Will you (or someone else with your permission) port this to AP, or will I have to play forever without this great script?

I checked on the EMP site and apparently i don't need the EMP mod if using Cycrow's Plugin Manager. I deleted that and it is still freezing just like 2 seconds after loading a save. Please help me!!!
