Freight Drones can dock.
If possible, i would love to see some dock space aboard the M7M ships, getting energy cells and other things onto them is a nightmare, and it's a hassle using the transporter all the time.
Can't wait until someone converts the bulk transporter upgrade, that is on my number one list of urgent conversions i think.

TP/TM/TS classes also external docking would be cool on M1,M2,M7 and TL.
The external TS dock also accomodates TP. I need to test TM, it's very likely that all three will work with the same component. In fact, I think they work for fighter class ships too (need to check).
Which would in essence, give you 1 external clamp for M5/M4/M3/TP/TS/TM.

Very good idea. I'm wondering why Ego didn't add this feature "automatically"... It was one of the first modifications in X3R...
My Idea is:
TL: 2 TS/TP/TM/M6 slot
M1: just one TS/TP slot
M2: one TS/TP/TM/M6 slot, plus 1-5 fighters (internal, in hangar)
M7/M8: one TS/TP slot.
M6: one fighter external slot.

Bertone, that's pretty much exactly what it is now, except the M6.
I figured, since the M6 can dock at all stations, the addition of a fighter clamp is redundant.
That said, I think I've gotten all TL/M1/M2/M7 scenes modified.
Fwiw, the M8s aren't very big. A TS docked to one is silly.
So, the way it is now:
TL: 2 external TP/TS/TM/M6/M8 (clamp also allowes for 1 fighter also)
M1: 1 external TP/TS/TM/M6/M8 (clamp also allowes for 1 fighter also)
M2: 1 external TP/TS/TM/M6/M8 (clamp also allowes for 1 fighter also) + 1 fighter (M3/M4/M5)

Well with X3R all that was required was to 'respawn' the ship for it to recognize it had the docking added. It was only because an existing model wouldnt have the docking ports themselves.
So their should be a simple solution, A) cheat and respawn your ship B) buy a new one C) reverse engineer your old one and procude a new one.
