Modding Pre-Existing X3 TC Ships

Today I spent some time MOD'ing a Argon M2 (no idea which one - I think it's the Titan). As per the instructions on Cycrows Ship Editor webpage I pulled the relevant line from the tships.txt file. Imported it into the Ship Creator made the changes, just a bit of Balancing. Saved the file, than using the Package Installer, installed the ship.

The rub is, now whenever I start a New Game or Saved Game the sector (no matter what profile) turns to enemy status and I am instantly blown up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
