Hi i'm relatively new here, long time listener, first time poster. and i would like to know if anyone could make this small script for me, or, if it is possible to make this script at all. the rest contains pretty big spoilers so dont click unless you're interested or want the "boron" plot ruined!

Using the cheat package, i have claimed the xenon Hub in the unknown sector near... you should know where. my question is this, seeing as i am using (and have completed) the terran plot the gates connected to the hub have not been activated, and thus cannot be used or re-aligned. my question is this: is it possible for someone to make a script that will activate these gates and make them usable in the non-plot game?

there is no script commands available to activate the gates.

you need to use the MD instead which is how they are activated in the plot

darn, ok if you have any idea on how to do that that would be awesome. i have no idea how to use the MD so any help would be greatly appreciated

the MD is the mission director. Its the built in system for creating missions in the game.

the edit is written in XML files outside of the game, and its how all the missions and plot are made in TC

Thank you, your cheat mod is excellent btw, without it I would probably have given up on X3 due to bugs :(
