[REQ-HOWTO] Regenerate Hull

Post by Joubarbe » Sun, 26. Oct 08, 10:28

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is any way to regenerate hull like shields because I find the repair option too expensive. So, my question is : is it possible to do either : 1/ make repair cheaper or 2/ regenerate hull very slowly in flight.

I know I know, this is cheating, but the game is too hard for me ^^

Thx

Actually this isn't cheating and you don't need a script for this.

If you eject your ship (Shift-e > confirm) then your astronaut can repair the ship(s).

I asked for something similar in X3R, but only for Boron ships, because of their somewhat "organic" looking.

Is it possible to have such a script? I remember in X3R some scripters told me "do it yourself"...

should be easier for TC, just attach a secondary signal to SIGNAL_DAMAGE to run a script that repairs the ship over time

i could prolly knock up something later today
