Ok, I'm also having the problem that the boarding teleporter somehow isn't added to the game. I can't find it, even with the cheat menu. Could somebody help me and tell me how to get it in there?

the most likely reason, is that you are missing the generated ware files so the ware isn't being loaded into the game.

check in the cheat scripts for the emp wares, they will be alot of them (under tech) with similar names, should be Z_BLANK.. or possible just showing a readtext.

make sure you are closing the plugin manager before running the game so it can generate the correct files

Hm yes, there alot of these Z_... files. And I found even the Boarding Extension among the tech items, but it won't appear under the install Equipment option. Was that the mistake, that I tried to look there instead of the wares?
Anyway, it seems to work now, thank you very much Cycrow.
Btw, when you said closing the manager, did you mean actually clicking the close butten or is it also enough if I start X3 with the manager?

it wont show up in the install equipment option as its not classed as equipment. only built in wares are classed as equipment, so none of the modded ones will be.

for closing, if you run the game via plugin manager, then you dont need to worry about it. Its for when you run the game seperatly that the plugin manager needs to be closed beforehand as it generates all the required files on close

hello people

the item for the transport device is called
ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOME20_17

and it cost $160M

i get that this is really good so the cost i guess makes sence, but is this accurate. sounds really expensive, and is there a way i can fix the name?

I tried installing it for AP Cycrow, but the PM Lite 1.5 said its for the wrong game. Installed it for TC, has no effect on AP. How do I do that? Help.

Its only warning you that it is for TC, you can safety ignore that and install it anyways

For information I play on TC with NHTC 3.0 mod by Xchange Guild, with those other scripts :

("Fast Repair" is one I made myself with X3Editor2 to inscrease repair ray of spacesuit mk3 => it only replaces 'types/TBullets.pck')

I added french language file (by copying them on 't' directory on spk and rename 'L033' + change language number by id="33") because I play on my native language ; for few of them, I translated myself texts to french.
Here are the scripts I made those changes :

does the name appear like that in game, ie when you buy it, or only in the script ?

you could try manually running the setup file from the script editor. That'll reload the texts.
if its still not working, then its likely an issue with your text file

this mod is dead now, one of the other links needed to run it is gone completely. so it was nice while it lasted. ( hot key manager I think)

Running X-3 TC + X-tended, english version, installed Improved Boarding (Bullwinkle's Hacked Version) v1.24a with X-universe PlugIn manager lite v1.63.

1) Hotkey "Launch marines" sometimes crashes the game to desktop at the moment of beginning hull cutting. Not every time and it looks like spamming the hotkey is what crashes the game. So if I press it twice, launching all my marines, it should be okay, but spamming it launches empty drop pods or something, which crashes on contact?

2) I already have boarding transporter (x-tended content?). This mod on using hotkey "lauch using transporter" gives me error about EMP_WARE not installed. Split equipment dock sells in Goods section (not ship upgrades though) EMP_WARE as reported by another user few messags above, but it's VERY expensive and I don't have enough reputation with Splits, so I haven't tried it. I tried running setup.boarding script with script console to no effect.

Overall, mod seems to be broken for me, not sure if it's x-tended incompatibility, but I guess I'll stick with M7M boarding pods.
