Script Engine major bug

Post by Graxster » Thu, 23. Oct 08, 22:23

I had a couple of scripts installed, specifically a 'setup' script to setup a Hotkey, and the script that pressing the hotkey would call. I then deleted the scripts, loaded a saved game, clicked "reinit script caches' from the script editor window, and although the files were deleted from the \scripts directory, they are still appearing under "running tasks". Reinit + save + quit + reload has no effect. The script processes are saved in the saved game, and cannot be stopped or reset. So if anyone installs then removes a script package, (as it stands now) they will be forced to start a new game every time. As I understand it, once the files are deleted, "reinit script caches" is supposed to check running scripts against scripts in the \scripts folder - so starting a new game wouldn't be necessary. This is a major bad thing going on.

Regards,
Grax
