I would, but the last post was 4 months ago, isn't that necroing?

Besides, I've seen other screenshots of different mods that have this feature, so I'm fairly sure it isn't Callback specific.

It’s not necroing if you have an issue specific to that mod/script.

Yes there are a number of cockpit mods, doesn’t mean they suffer from the same issue.

There are a lot of scripts & mods that add the same or similar features but they can be implemented in totally different ways.

I'm not moderating; but the best & quickest way to get an answer will be from the specific OP.

I mod may or may not take an issue, that’s none of my concern.

If the mod is no longer supported, the originator is not active, or it’s more of an open query then the Generic X3TC S&M question post is usually active with a lot of helpful users on.

Lets rephrase this feedback: "I don't actually like the main feature added by this mod, but I do love the way the cockpit camera is repositioned. How does it do that?"

... and merge.
