Nice one Litcube. Got the map controls assigned to a hat switch and scrolling around yours is far easier...

My thread on this topic got locked ... but the question remains.

Will this work for X3:TC 2.0 ???

Or is it a FIXED map which only applies to X3:TC 1.4.

My Thanks

If its a FIXED map ... I guess I'll have to contact Litcube for an update.

As per Arraamis's request, I sent him a personal message. As it stand, I will not be updating the file for a while. Once egosoft patches this game to a playable standard, I'll get right back in the mix with you guys. Until then, I'm patiently waiting for 2.1+

I'm on 2.0 and the flat map works. Or does it work but it's broken somewhere (eg missing sectors)?

The issue is that it doesn't have all the sectors.

Updated for 2.1

Update: August 15th, 2009: It appears as though the file has been updated by an Egosoft patch. I have flattened the latest 2.1 map, and updated the latest link.

HUGE THANKS, Litcube.

Appreciate your efforts ..... Now I can upgrade to 2.1.

The universe map is the biggest problem with X games and its baffling why the DEVs won't address this most annoying issue.

Any chance we could see an update for 2.5? The map files have changed with 2.5.

Does this work with 2.5?
If not, is there a way to get it to?
If I seem super-critical lately, it's due to having played X2 and X3, which were awesome games. X:R's release was a hard fail, however there *were* improvements, especially with stations, capitals, and capturing/boarding. X4 right now feels like the best parts of X2/3 and Rebirth all got thrown out the friggin window. I'm honestly hopeful that X4 will turn out awesome, but I'm already hugely disappointed in ES as I have seen them do better and really expect more from them.

There was a new map added in 2.5, so someone would have to flatten it.
I wish I knew how, I would if I could.
The first documented attempt in human history to use a rocket for spaceflight
was made in the 16th century by a Chinese Ming dynasty official named Wan Hu.
The resultant explosion presumably killed him.

This appears to be a dead mod. Is anyone aware of any alternatives?

I stopped updating them when I developed a script to create your own.

The first post now contains a link to the correct thread.

(yes, this is an old thread, but as I'm just installing X3-TC from scratch I have to follow old traces and this one looked misleading at first)
