So - I recently converted to Mac and since we can't use the Plug-in manager anymore (for steam users at least), is there a way to access the scrips and t folder from the spk so that they can be copied manually to the directories? Thanks
My favourite memory of the X series was babysitting that TL across half the universe in XTension and finally arriving in Getsu Fune to be gifted the TL! I called her Big Bad Orca...

You can use the Package Explorer and extract the spk file ...

Thanks for your reply, but none of the plug-in manager files work on Mac with the steam game. Was hoping there would be another way to extract them!

I don`t understand .
When you extract a .spk file you get a /scripts and a /t directory ; what is wrong with that ?

Hi, hope someone can help.
Great cheat package. I have used it many times to facilitate the way I want to play the game.
I'm having a problem with both player headquarters (Terran and standard) when they have been cheated in with create station command. They will not recycle or reverse engineer ships.
When I select a ship to be reverse engineered or recycled, the enter the queue then nothing happens i.e. they just stay in the queue and the process does not start.
Is there a work around/solution for this.
When the HQ has been "won" via the storyline - no problem - everything works fine.
Would be grateful for any help.

the Headquarters requires a specific activation for all its functions to work, which doesn't work when using the create station options.
instead, add the station to a TL, then manually deploy it, this will create a fully working HQ

Help, the "force realignment of gates" option doesn't work at all for me. I have completed the xenon hub plot, and tried to command/cheat the hub in many ways, yet none of them works. Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks before. (Game: X3AP v3.1)

No, script commands for those didnat exist in TC.
the best you can do is the fight rank, theres an option to spawn fodder. This creates loads of ships that are easily killed to help you, but you have to do the killing yourself

For some reason its not working for me...
Couple of trouble shooting things from the get go:
1. Does this require the no steam .exe? Because I can't download that for some reason.
2. Is this not compatable with XTC? The "scripts that work with XTC" has it green.
3. Should I be using the 1.62 version from the download or the 1.70 version that comes with the manager?
4. Is there a discord server that I can chat in so the conversation can ping me effectively?
Its strange because the XTC list of commands is in the controls menu and the Detector script works too... so... Im at a loss.
And yes ive done the rename thing. The script menu runs. Just not the cheat menu.

The 1.7 version is the multi game version, it works for TC, AP and FL. When using it with AP it will be exactly the same as 1.62, so either version is fine.
To use the cheat menu, set the hotkey in your controls to open the menu. If the hotkey is not listed, it means its not installed correctly (check its the right directory)

In some cases, if the Cheat Menu does not appear in the settings, change the name of the pilot to Thereshallbewings.
Save the game and load a save. The menu should appear in the game settings and you will be able to assign hotkeys to open it.

Yep. I needed to choose the /addon/ directory for it to work. I think that is the XTC part of the modded game.
I was wondering why there were two... I assumed they were TC and AP. Ass out of me I guess.
