Evening folks,
I have played this a little this weekend, & I shouldn't have.
I say that because my video card is way below minimum specs.
But with a free download, well, it would be wrong not to try.
It worked wonderfully, queue times & server throwouts notwithstanding.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. was was good to be back in such familiar territory.
I only had time to test one character, so led my skeleton army around Sanctuary.
One main location with trade & storage options. Most main & side quests
from this location. Plenty of other locations, with teleports & travel around
a larger land mass.
Side quests are kill one big monster, kill lots of smaller monsters.
collect amounts of an item, & delivery this to there. You get the gist
However, it felt more familiar than it should. A very comfortable playtest.
And then a couple of days after I ad finished, it has come to me.
It's the Elder Scrolls Online, in a Diablo universe.
& this is why the setup feels so familiar?
Anybody else test over the weekend, & what are your feelings about it?

Re: Diablo 4 beta weekend
When I noticed it I thought about it for all of 2 seconds, then I remembered who is behind the game and what they have done in the past and my conscience stepped in and wouldn't allow me.

Re: Diablo 4 beta weekend
Comparing to "Path of Exile", "Diablo 4" character build possibilities are pretty shallow, loot not very interesting. But story, atmosphere and visuals/sounds way better than PoE.
