It's a word I know, and sometimes use. For example

I just couldn't see it.
I thought the questioning was on some of the guess words and not the target word itself.

I had mentioned some of those attempted words but edited the respose to remove them a few minutes after posting.

(one of mine and one of X2-Illuminatus)

@berth, thanks for the context given to yesterday's word, and I do indeed use it, but seeing it in isolation totally threw me.

Eh? Undue is a perfectly normal word in British English too. Example, straight from Google: "These requirements shouldn't cause you any undue hardship."

Yeah, as I mentioned in today's Wordle, it was the lack of context (and surfeit of years) that undid me. I do use it, but the word on its own caused a brain spasm...
