Putin's mission is all of Ukraine

You correctly determined that Russia would accept unconditional surrender followed by repressions.

That role playing post that we didn't finish, does it mean you accept my terms, are our negotiations complete?

. Once Ukraine surrenders and the war ends, I expect there will be tons of money available for reconstruction (and corruption). Post war, billionaires will be made and the more damage the better.
Who exactly will pay for the reconstruction? Are you ready to pay Russia? Great news!

I think for balance reasons I will officially call Russia to surrender. It's the best course of actions out of incoming catastrophy.

Democrats might use other ways to get around Mike Johnson blocking the Ukraine aid bill from being voted on. Maybe they can pay Ukraine to dispose of weapons instead of US contractors?

More Russian planes shot down. Training ground blown up. Russia's Altai defence facility in Biysk, Russia blown up to some extent. Biysk, Russia is thousands of km from Ukraine.

Arrested Nalvany supporters might be being forcefully conscripted and sent to the front lines.

Sweden aid 680M aid package

Zelensky offers to meet Polish leaders to try to stop the blockade of military aid and products crossing through Poland. They might have another route to go around Poland.

Looks like another Russian AWAC was shot down.

https://www.newsweek.com/ukraine-shoots ... ne-1872986

Apparently Germany and the US might be sending longer range missiles with better warheads to Ukraine. The current warheads are apparently not meant for destroying underground structures, etc.... and are lower yield. Might include tarus missiles that were excluded in another decision.

I heard it was an S-200, a very old, but very long range missile.

Possibly a lot to happen this week:

- today Hungarian parliment will vote Sweeden NATO accession
- (rumors) this week Transnistrial will vote to join Russia (preparation for Special Operation 2.0 against Moldova?)
- Polish foreign affair minister said that, if Poland will be under danger, we can double military spending to 8% GDP - Transnistria move might be it, as will definetly prove Putin will not stop
- more Mig-29 from Poland, to hold the fort till F-16 arrive:

Sweden's joined NATO. Might have cost them a few planes or other bribes.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/swede ... y-a62db46c

NATO has suggested that it coordinate and distribute Ukraine military aid vs individual countries.

Ukraine's targeting more infrastructure. Might have shut down a $10b steel mill. Other places got blown up also.

https://www.newsweek.com/russia-ukraine ... ne-1873023

Signs of US aid might be clearer on Feb 27/28.

Russia stops exporting fuel for the next 6 months. Maybe only 50% of their refineries were hit? They don't have that many. Furthermore it causes transportation issues with the larger volume of unrefined oil. Some ships are just sitting in the ocean because nobody can store/refine the extra oil. Also means Russia can't add value to the product meaning the gasoline,etc... probably sells for more than the oil would.

Someone asked me if Putin is smart. For a dictator, sure, but that's not a high bar.

Thanks for helping expanding NATO though

It is possible for a person to simultaneously be clever or intelligent (the kind of intelligence as measured by IQ tests) and a fool. Fools lack wisdom, they are unprincipled. They do not have a firm moral compass. Each decision is made not on the basis of whether something is right or ethical, but whether it results in some immediate benefit to themselves, a shortsighted approach which may work in the short term but fails in the long term.

In this sense, Putin is a fool, even though he may be very clever in terms of manipulating others. Hitler was a fool. Stalin was a fool. They each may have succeeded in the short term, but none was able to create a system that would stand the test of time.

What a farce. Every human with a brain in his head should be able to look through this.

"Halp - a peaceful country threatens us. Please dear warfaring Russia, halp!"

So sick of this fabricated stuff

Zelenskyy in Saudi Arabia to push for peace, POW deal with Russia.

I suspect they (Ukraine, Russia) are still light years from reaching agreement, but with Ukraine continuing to retreat on the battlefront, I don't think Zelenskyy would have made the trip, if he didn't see the inevitable defeat facing Ukraine. I'm hoping Zelenskyy will see the lives of his people as being more valuable than artificial land borders.

your conclusion for his trip contradicts what was said in the same article you have linked

plus, lives of what people? This is a contradiction too that I explained. Making deal with Russia is giving lives of Ukrainians in exchange for abstract border, the other way from what you said.
Zelenskyy has presented a 10-point peace formula that, among other things, seeks the expulsion of all Russian forces from Ukraine and accountability for war crimes – at a time when the two sides are fighting from largely static positions along a roughly 1,500km (930-mile) front line.
What Zelensky is doing is cornering Russia out of any support, which is smart

best way out of this is for Russia to surrender before loss of men and educated men is felt, not counting crumbling infrastructure and technology

Ukraine surrendering won't stop that

Also Zelensky has been calling for peace, by holding Russia accountable and releasing Ukrainian children, people and territory.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-68393854
"None of us will allow our Ukraine to end," Volodymyr Zelensky said in an address in the capital Kyiv
...
"That's why, to the words 'end of the war', we always add 'on our terms'. That's why the word 'peace' always goes with 'fair'.

"We are fighting for it. For 730 days of our lives already. And we will win on the best day of our life."

meanwhile support for war in Russia is overshadowed by Russian women arrested for demanding their husbands back

eagerness to join the army is near zero in the cities

Russia has only one way out of this, withdrawal, releasing all Ukrainians and their children, reparations.

Time is ticking for Russia, the further it goes the worse it'll get. And the end is not that far.

Hey Fiksal, maybe as native russian speaker can you find english translation for the russian source video of this?

Edit: Russian source video, but no english subtitles :(

In short - Russian veterans are treated like trash and scammed of veteran benefits and status at every possible opportunity.

I might be a bit rusty on history, but there was a few European contries that got into troubles when angry and trained veterans felt neglected.
Imagine 1-2 milion angry Prigozins + their families. I don't think Putin has enough plane accidents or poorly secured open windows to contain this.

Yeah, Putin isn't even remotely wise. How could it be wise to make the whole country behave like a rejected incel?
But it seems, Putin is also ill-educated and gullible to right-wing philosophers like Ivan Ilyin, a known facsism supporter and 3rd Reich's sympathiser.

The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan lasted about ten years, perhaps this war will be decided before 2032?
