It's global warming. And I'm serious. Apparently, the hot stream going from Mexico to Normandy / Ireland and up is slowly moving its course to the north, taking away the "protection" from the british isles, which are going to have the appropriate climate for their latitude: scandinavian winter. Dartmoor is hardly south. It's over 50°N and the temperature there is currently hovering just above 0°C. It's even had snow in the last few days, so I'm baffled by the fire.
