Expanse is gone from Netflix, and is not on Prime on Amazon - asked about it on Twitter, and they just gave a boilerplate response about "different programs in different regions". Didn't say when S3 was due to land, either.
So it has! It had better come to Amazon Prime, then, or I'm going to be annoyed.

HBO is letting people watch Game of Thrones for free from November 21-25, 2018..

http://collider.com/watch-game-of-thron ... nksgiving/

HBO Thanksgiving Free Preview, which allows users to sample the streaming networks services from Wednesday, November 21, to Sunday, Wednesday 25

It also looks like Northern Exposure is getting a remake with the original cast.

Currently watching Stan Against Evil on Hulu which is like Ash vs Evil Dead and the Detectorists mixed together. It's not that exciting.

CTV has it's digital super hub partially up. It has quite a few free movies. I am not sure if it is even Canada region locked.

And, it's a blatant copyright violation, too. Sure, nobody in their right mind is going to actually pay real money to watch "Pluto Nash," but still... it's illegal.

WAT?

Where did this come from? Is this like "Fort Fantasy Apache?" "DS9 with Dragons?"

There's a lot of possibilities with something like that, especially with long storylines and subplots that keep viewers hooked. I'm going to try to remember to watch this, thanks! I just hope they don't turn it into some sappy/crappy socio-political-statement garbage. I'm apprehensive at what looks like a female lead. NOT because I don't like female leads, just because of all the femenisactivism that is going on right now. It's a dangerous moment for a female lead that could run afoul of people insisting she confront a "Me Too" moment or, instead of being a strong character, get caught up in some "Hollywood-inspired" related storyline that goes nowhere and ultimately does nothing. (It seems it's so darn easy for someone to put a bug in someone's ear, or a producer's, to get a character to do something to respond to some "cause" and then it just breaks the darn character to bits.)

Thanks for the recommendation! Will watch!

Please, please, please be good... Please don't be "90210 with Dragons." :)

IMDB (internet movie database) has started their own streaming site called imdb freedive. You can watch Fringe, Warehouse 13, Caprica, Lexx, Quantum Leap and some other shows for free with ads. US region locked. The imdb channel is available to watch on prime US region without a prime subscription. I think IMDB freedive has another non prime video site also.

Link to US region channel on US prime video site below. If you use a browser and a region thing you'll have to log in through the US site.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/storefr ... reewithads

I think the freedive app is available on amazon firesticks, etc... also.

Interesting. There's also a reboot of "Project Blue Book" as well. I'm not sure if it's a real "reboot" of the old show or not, but it looks interesting.

Recently had a surprise new entry into my five favourite films. - 'Wildling.' I'd been scanning Sky for something to watch and stumbled across it. It's a pretty simplistic plot, but fulfilling and a little poignant at the same time. Name and the promotional poster more or less explain what it's about.
“Man, my poor head is battered,” Ed said.

“That explains its unusual shape,” Styanar said, grinning openly now. “Although it does little to illuminate just why your jowls are so flaccid or why you have quite so many chins.”

“I…” Had she just called him fat? “I am just a different species, that’s all.”

“Well nature sure does have a sense of humour then,” Styanar said. “Shall we go inside? It’d not be a good idea for me to be spotted by others.”
