And I shudder to think just what he'd have to do for you to see him as anything other than the second coming of Christ, frankly.
What I see him as is a giant roadblock to socialists. I want the biggest, loudest, meanest guy I can get to be in front of that effort.
So you wanted to give the biggest middle-finger you could find to stick in the face of half the population if the US, wow beeing a "real American" sure brings a lot of screwing over fellow Americans with it.

You also realize that the people that have gotten the finger the past few years will likely respond in kind sooner or later, finding themselves the biggest middle finger they can give "your" half of America? Thus the downward spiral of self-destruction continues.
Well, to be fair, most of "their america" will be dead in the next 20-30 years. the majority of that attitude is from old white men of that era and their time is almost up. It's cool, we'll be around to clean up their mess. Hell, we'll give those hold outs Puerto Rico so they can be as self important as they wanna, build all the walls they wanna, and let the Puerto Ricans come live on the mainland and enjoy the life the rest of us are. We'll even send them paper towels whenever they have a "very wet rain".

China also wanted a piece of it to help with their projecting of power (similar to the artificial island they built awhile back). Given the strategic location, the many interest from different super powers and the rhetoric flying in between them, I won't be surprise if one day it turns into a Balkan situation.

So yeah, feel free to make a mockery out of it. I'm not saying I like the idea or in support of it, but to the people who are less ignorant of history, we see even a bigger mockery being displayed here.
Source pls?

If it's that Chinese investors own a minority stake in an Australian company that's seeking/has mining rights in Greenland, then this isn't the same as trying to *buy* Greenland and therefore own it completely and able to determine all about it (certainly heard nothing about China wanting to base military personal there as per your claim about the "Islands they built a while back" - the Spratley's?) . Otherwise China is also trying to "buy" Australia? And most of Africa? Also, the Chicago Stock Exchange... and many more US companies majority owned by Chinese firms - guess they're buying the US too.

he's happily tearing the country apart, and flogging it off to the highest bidder - and he's president..
Maggie Thatcher and Reagan started it, "trickle-down" economy and all that rubbish - and idiot-boy Trump has taken it to new depths..

It's funny how he goes on about Brexit being a good thing for the UK, which is another reason why it probably isn't. But anyway, I take it he hasn't noticed that Brexit will probably also be the end of the the UK, where Scotland will vote for independence away from England and the rest of the UK. Here's the thing, he is not liked in Scotland, he is actually pretty well despised by the mass majority of the Scottish people. The Scottish government even petitioned that he be banned from entering the UK, which was ultimately blocked by the UK government, we currently don't have control over the borders, but when Scotland becomes and independent country away from the UK government with full control over our borders, what does he think is going to happen.
I'm not saying he is a Russian asset, I'm saying he sat on his asset when he was supposed to be confronting Putin.
He will not be re-elected. Without a wall, he will only be remembered as a small cartoon figure who briefly inflamed and amused the rabble.

If it doesn't impact his bottom line, I can guarantee you he doesn't care. It was obvious from day one his whole purpose for being in office was to stroke his ego but mostly to manipulate tax laws and policy to favor his holdings. Anything/everything else related to the office for him is just either pandering to the hillbillies or an inconsequential (to him) circumstance that he was forced to do something work adjacent on. Why else do you think he spends half the day watching his favorite Fox and Friends reruns and spamming twitter with his hamburder nonsense?

- and in the meantime, he's dismantling the government - there have never been so many "acting" officials in central positions of power..
- he's causing great damage..

- Ok, so he wants to buy Greenland - that's 'cos he's stupid enough to try..
- he will assist Boris Johnson to sell off the NHS to the banks and insurance companies
- it was always Thatcher's central plan while she was in power, and these bloody Tories will try it again..

It's too late, because Trump doesn't understand what ails America. I know you are afraid, but don't worry. Unless you are one of the tiny percentage of so called winners, your life will be improved as our society puts humanity ahead of unrestrained personal greed. Be happy, socialism is the future of this country. There is no stopping it.
America is going to survive you with or without me. Your ideas will create a state of profound hardship here but you will also create the generation of hard people who will kick your butt and get us back to what we should be. It is the inevitable cycle of socialism. You vote your way in. You get mass poverty and loss of freedom. You fight your overlords for a way out. You value freedom again. You can't win this. Not here. We are better prepared wreck your vision than any other nation.

You speak of freedom, yet you support a bigot that wants to build walls to keep less fortunate people out and spits at any 3rd world country or any racially diverse city in the US. You speak of inevitable mass poverty where your orange overlord lied to you and everyone else about his tax plans that only benefited the wealthy and will add untold amounts of debt to the nation, not to mention this pissing war he's getting in with China that's not benefiting anyone in any shape, form, or fashion.

You act as if the human race even has a future if we all adopt this "me first" vision of yours. It didn't work for Hitler, why do you think it will work for you or whichever moron you support?

LOL, You guys are are so beyond savior, the US is utterly screwed. You don't care about what Trump doesn or doesn't do as long as he pisses of half your country. I don't get why you guys posts are any longer than: "Trump pissed you of? Good, that makes me feel better"

I love Masterbagger's dramatic struggle for his so-called "freedom". I'd love even more watching the pendulum swinging back as it always does obliterating the radical right ideology and deeds. I'll make sure to vote as well.

As I said before, I'll have expensive bottle of Scotch ready to celebrate.

It's the empathy or the lack of it that I find amazing, where we are seeing that American's themselves hope for the worst for their own country to spite others that live in the same country, as shown by the Americans posting on this very forum. At some point America has to crash and burn and it is looking more and more like that is what they want to happen.

How am I the radical? You are just saying that to try to delegitimize my views which haven't changed in decades and many of which used to be shared by democrats who were willing to live peaceably with me back then. I think you should probably recognize at this point that it isn't me trying to rule you. I have my views on government and way of life and they are grounded on something permanent. I don't change. It is you wanting something from me that I won't ever give. You don't understand why I have a duty to refuse you. You are just wrong and I won't be wrong with you.

Can you name something worse than socialism for a country? I can't. If it makes me a bad guy in your eyes to say no to that then I can live with it. Again, there is a very simple formula for what I am going to agree with. It is you putting yourself at odds with me and demanding I change to suit you. I will not. It really isn't personal.

No, we most definitely don't want it to crash and burn. We just know the right winger's vendetta against anything that isn't straight, white, male, and "christian" is a cancer that erodes the core of anything resembling decency, freedom, and democracy.

Not to mention, the so called president doesn't even represent the majority of the people. We're in an unusual situation where the popular vote did not go to Trump. The electoral college put this clown in office, the people did not. Other than the extremely narrow election of W back in 2000, we haven't had this situation since the 1800's.

By and large, Americans do not reflect the views that emanate from the current administration. Most of us would rather lift others up than to climb over them to reach the top. We know we're in this together. We don't teach our children to hate. That's a winger's forte. Don't get me wrong, we have our problem people. But they represent the minority of Americans.
