Old music thread
The old thread had surpassed the 100 page mark, so I decided to start a new one. Reason, read my/the first post in the other thread
The other day there I was looking for another album for a two for deal, I stumbled onto the latest album by the Waterboys called modern blues, so I got that. A most excellent album that I'm glad I got. Here's a couple of tracks from it, but the whole album is worth a listen and a purchase.
The Waterboys - I Can See Elvis
The Waterboys - Long Strange Golden Road

You would never be able to guess where I heard the second song for the first time.

Oh shit, I totally forgot that I had that song on my phone.
But Mr. Suicide Sheep actually has a lot of good music, at least if you like electronic stuff.

I'm in two minds about electronic music. I don't mind synthesizers if they are actually played. What I don't like is when the musician just holds down one key and the computer does everything else. Aside from being cheating imo it also leads to not very good music.
Since someone mentioned old school how about some Bee Gees
