From what I know about metal EVERYTHING is it's own genre, so probably yes.

While we are talking about metal, I have been listening to more metalcore again lately.

Jinjer - Pisces, Tatiana Shmaylyuk really is also a great traditional singer as she showcases in this song.

Great band, I'm sure I've posted some of their music before.
Really nice clean vocals and surprisingly deep gutturals for her small size. (link TL:DR 3:00 to 4:30)
The bass has got these great little grove embellishes to it. The drumming is tight and for only having one guitarist power and riffs for days.
