Steam/GOG etc - Free Stuff (or very, very cheap)

Games that are 'for free' anyways, will be removed from your library in Steam once deinstalled, but can be reinstalled any time by visiting the 'store page' again and installing them again. Without charge of course, since free at all.
This is true in the case of the mentioned 'Fallout: Shelter', or even 'Path of Exile' (although that was once a pay to play game (during early access, beta (and it was worth it!)), but this was before it went to Steam).
If they are games that are to be bought and these got into your library for 'free', they will stay visible even after uninstalling them.

Yeah of courseTamina wrote:You can hide games in your library under the category option (rightclick on title). Alternatively you can also permanently delete a game from your library on the steam website (category: support). Trust me I deleted a lot of free games from this thread!Sinxar wrote:Yeah the wording leads me to believe it wasn't free at some point. But games like Dota 2 somebody gave me a code for and I used it and now it stuck in my library. Could be because its a Valve game who knows. Steam is weird sometimes.
Hmm. I was going to recommend BallisticNG but it went from free to paid so nevermind.

It had been so long (2001) since played it I got XBTF. Took all of two seconds to dowload. Made me respect how far the X series has came. Remebered that it took me hours and many tries just dock and get to save my first game. Some accomplishment eh?

HHHHhhsssss. (That's the sound of Steam) Would be a great deal IF it could be redeemed outside of a Steam account. (Boo Hiss). The Flame in the Flood is free on Humble Bundle for the next day and a half

Good thing is, GOG does not have the regional restriction.

I got a Steam coupon for 50% off of "Off World Trading Company" since I owned Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. (I had the whole SoaSe pack.)
So, check your account to see if you have any coupons. There may be other's they're giving out!
Not sure if I will buy it or not. Maybe.
PS - Just saw this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4663 ... d_Edition/
Planescape Torment - Remastered is 80% off. The original is one the best games, let along RPGs, let alone Fantasy RPG, ever... EVER!
It's worth the $3.99 (USD). Twice over. Three times over. TEN TIMES OVER!
So... uh... heads-up?
