tonight i went to a job interview @ kwiksave, as i was in the interview, the boss said the rates of pay are good too, @ £3.65 per hour, i would need you to work 2-3 nites a week, 4 hours each night...blabla and so on...so i said yea thats fine(but the pay is shite!) and 2 bus journeys to get to this kwikkie im thinking that its a waste, he will hopefully(not) ring me tommorow saying if i have got the job(he had interviewed 5 other ppl that day too), god i dont know why i went to this

i could earn the same in 1 day with my ex boss delivering leaflets and the hours were 7am-11am than in 1 week and working 12 hours....takes the piss eh?

they can offer you less until you hit 18

get back to your old boss, or get a job where the discount makes working there worthwhile

that is poor, whatever your age.. if you know what youre after in the big scheme, and its just a 'get there' type of job then tell him to shove it (after you get offered it of course).. gotta be a good feeling..

7 days a week
up at 5am
milk round till 7am
paper round till 8.30am
school till 4pm

2 quid at the end of the week TOTAL.

mother then takes 2 quid and gives me 50 pence.

I worked in Sainsburys for 7 years and my leaving pay 3 months ago was 5.40 pph. Crap.

My new job pays me 8 pound hr.

lol i would go back with my ex boss but an employee backstabbed him(but thats another story!!) so he had enough, and quit, making me jobless

I was earning more then that at Safeway when i was a student 10 years ago. Since they brought in the minimum wage lots of places have dropped the salary to crap levels like that.
