How did the dog training go?

I seem to remember you saying it was a black labradour? If that is the case you could:

Over-feed it cream cakes and pies
Cover it in lard to make it all slippery
Put a pair of black socks on his front legs
Teach it to balance a beach-ball on his nose
Then you can tell everyone you have a trained seal.
