Do you get a notification if you *don't* win? I've bought several now and been wasting time waiting to see if i win, nothing yet.

nope, you only get a message if you win

it can take about an hour after player to receive the message

I dont believe this Lottery has any better odds than the normal one. I have purchased at LEAST 40 or 50 tickets ant 10,000 credits a piece and have won absolutly nothing. Not even 1 credit. Looks like nothing has changed to me.

the odds are definatlly better, but like any lottery its still random so your never guarnateed to win.

but plenty of ppl have won the lottery

Maybe my game is bugged or something, ive played X3 today for an additional 6 hrs today because im on vacation from work and haveing a good time. I have purchased an additional 26 tickets today since my last post. So i have spent a total of 760,000 credits on 76 tickets and have still won nothing. The script was an auto installer so i know it is correctly installed. I even tried looking into the script editor but still no luck.

remember it doesn't replace the existing lottery, so that will still be on the BBS

it just adds a new one, just make sure you are buying the correct ones

Well im buying the 10,000 credit lottery not the 500 credit lottery. Those are the only lotteries in the game. I dont even bother with the 500 credit lottery. Ive spent over 700k in lottery tickets and its almost like just dumping the credits into open space.

im a complete new person to the x series,iv read a few posts about this lottery thing and iv tried installing this lottery script to make it possible to win. iv installed everything correctly but im still getting the standard lottery pop ups on the bbs??? have i done something wrong or am i just unlucky not to catch the new version pop up on bbs at times?? iv got the latest patch for x3 also if that helps with all the scripts at the latest also.

this script doesn't remove the existing lottery, just adds a new one, so you should have both.

however, if your not getting the new one at all, it could be that u havn't enabled the script editor, you need to do that before any scripts will work

Damn. I have to be the unluciest human on earth. I spend about 20.000.000Cr on both lotteries and nothing. (almoust like in real life)

well like the normal lottery its basically random if you win
so sometimes u can be lucky and win alot, sometimes you can be really unlucky.

althou on average most ppl tend to win

i have one monetary prizes twice (total of 2 mil) and 3 ships.... i have spent maybe 400k in tickets.... so i am ahead at any rate

one more quick question.. does it matter how many tickets u buy or does buying one after the other overwrite the first ticket u brought? just incase as i dont wana buy one tickect that cud be a winner and then buy another one that overwrites it with new code

and how long on average do u have to wait to find out if uv won??

no it shouldn't over right it, u sohuld be able to buy as many as your like, it can be a few hours wait, but you only hear anything if you have won.

This is to prevent cheating so u dont just reload until u win
