No, as LV said, the only races that will respond are the main ones. Xenon/khaak/pirates will not send reinforcements. However, if Argon were to attack paranid, the paranid would send reinforcements, and then the argon would and a big battle would ensue.

Does this "spawn" ships or uses what's already spawned? If it doesn't spawn anything how does the stock re-spawning works?

I can't download this mod because both the EXE and RAR links in the website appear to be broken!

One idea for a later version of this script might be to put a limit on the strength of the response to an attack based on the sectors importance.
It could be implemented with a limit on the amount of ships of each class that can be sent to a sector.
An attack in Argon Prime would then merit a much stronger response from the argons then an attack on some, relatively, unimportant border sector (not that there are any true far of unimportant sectors in the X - universe really).

If one side of the battle reaches its maximum response level (number of ships or similar) but is fighting a loosing battle they then retreat to a neighbouring sector.

Marine, you can put each file into the proper folders yourself.

yes but that takes longer and is more confusing lol. besides its supposed to work by just extracting it into your main directory.

It does but it is obvious your extracting program is not extracting the files into the correct directory, check your settings.

Oh and it really shouldnt take you that much longer to do it manually, just select all the files in the folder and move them all at the same time into the correct X3 folder

Ok got a question. So basically I open x3jtp1.0 go to scripts highlight everything in that folder go to my X3 directory click on scripts and paste everything in there, than click on the t folder and drag that to the T folder in my X3 directory and put that there?

yep just copy all the files from the Script folder in that file and then paste them into the Script folder in the x3 folder.

I extracted all the files correctly, changed my name to Thereshallbewings and used the script editor to "Reinit Scrip Cache" or whatever it's called.

I got the Attempt Notoriety Fix on the special commands tab, which makes me believe I installed the script correctly, however, I am not seeing any reaction to my wrong doings.

Can you give more details on how this work?

How much damage do I have to do? How heavy will be the response? Will it always be the same task force? What happens if I win and destroy the ships, do they respawn? If I mess with another sector will there be ships around to respond?

So far I've taken a Boron Shark and a corvette to Family Whi and killed everything red in that sector, the best response I've noticed were small squadrons of light fighters, I'll try again with two Sharks, one corvette and 10 heavy fighters on a core Split sector with M2/M1's present and let you know how it goes.

If you have triggered a signal the Trade Dock in that sector will go red

You can also look in the victim ships script menu, any ship running jtp will be running the script jtp.callshipa for most of the time unless it's restocking energy or fighting :)

I did try again, and it didn't work, but the third time was the charm, and the download seems to have worked. As for "forcgrip", I'm not sure what you mean, but I sure like the sound of it. There's a growing list of people I would definitely apply forcgrips to, although it will mean my getting lumps of coal in my stocking this Christmas instead of good presents.

In any case, thanks for your help!
