Hi. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not, but I am currently flying a Caimen Hauler, but do not have a cockpit.

All I can see is its very long nose! I have a Buster and a Nova and the cockpits appear on them just fine, but not on my new TS.

Any help?

Hi I love the cockpits!

I saved a game and then tried reloading with the cockpit mod turned off.
I got a message from Vista saying X3 has stopped responding. Am I not allowed to do this then?

as egosoft did not add cockpits themselves some ships have the wrong or no cockpit, if you have the x3 editor (http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=103977) you could edit the types/tships file and edit the ships cockpit line.

its far easer then it sounds you just have to open the .cat file with the largest number see if it has a types folder with the tships file in, if not open the next smaller in till you find it once open you should figure it out if not i am sure allot of people would be quite happy to help

(oh almost forgot you open them with the txt editor in the x3editor)

OK Leo. I got hold of the X3 editor and had a look for the cockpit in question in the .cat file, sure enough there is an entry for the Split TS present. However I am usure what to do next.

is this the cockpit mod in the bonus pack, if so is there any way to get the origonal argon cocpits back?

or download the cockpit mod from the bonus pack, go to the egosoft.com homepage, go to games > x3 reunion > dowloads > bonus material. and the cocpit mod dowload is at the bottom of the page. finaly if you have x3 2.0 or higher you should have this mod as standard.

If so, how do i uninstall it? as it's knackered something in my game, none of my saves will load anymore
