How odd, keep your machine away from the net, we don't want this spreading!

Why don't you register your game so that you can post there?

Have you actually checked your machine for viruses yet?

Back up your saved games and anything else you can't recreate, clear the drive, and reinstall your o/s. Don't try and take a shortcut. If you do it will likely come back to haunt you. If you are running XP, you can try the repair, but if you don't know about that already you are better off starting over. 'Tis a sharp medicine, but a cure for all diseases.

The ticky disk is required for technical support.

Unfortunately, I think you're going to need some assistance fixing your computer. I think you should return your computer to the shop for repairs if it's under warrantee. Alternatively, you could look through your local phone directory for someone to fix your computer for you.
I've been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again. Apparently it's something I'm good at...

Should be fairly easy to get a new cd from MS if you had a legit copy and registered it....
The cd's you can often pickup easy it's the license code that is the inportant part.

Windows XP disks are often supplied on a partition of the harddisk... maybe you should check there ?
