From one modeller to the other:

RESPECT!

Far better than anything i was capable of.

Really great job, man.

The only little thing that disturbs me is that motion blur thingy.
Sometimes (e.g. the flyby of the colossus the first moments) the blur is
too high giving the feeling that the ship is far faster than it moves.

But hey, nobody is perfect (especially me :D <- still much to learn ).

Other than that really cool.

Now i still have to get somebody converting the X2-meshes to .3ds , so i can import them in blender.

thanks earthpilot, I enjoyed your vid btw,

the motion blur was set uniformly across all scenes and objects, and was calculated based on movement across the screen rather than speed of objects (only exception was weapons fire (energy) (I used it in because some of the scenes I rendered before using any motion blur) the flyby scene the early apparant motion blur isnt motion blur but compression, on my ubber ubber high detail version (near uncompressed) its not blury till it starts passing by (ie its the quality of the video at that moment is a bit spongy).

WOW Avis, just saw it and WOW, possibly the best dream sequence I've ever seen. :P
Amazing stuff, I'm stunned and for once quite lost for words

In the immortal words of Jon Otway "Beware of the Hamsters, cos I'm sure they're gonna get you yeah", well almost

(keep typing fool - rusti: yes master, grovel)

Its bloody lucky im was well paid for this debacle of a video and as for that Rock. Who the hell does he think he is? Stealing MY feckin video. My limelight,. Well i can tell you he wears frilly knickers in the costume changing rooms. Pansy.

Hero? Ha! wet fish more like.

i never want to be associated with Avis again, hes a hack of a film director and ive asked my agent to start legal proceedings for this outrage.

Now bugger off the lot of you i have filming to do on the new dwarf Movie...(thats if they let me in past the barbed wire...)

It means that instead of left clicking to start the torrent, you should right click and save it then go to where you saved it and double click on the icon.
If you can`t dazzle them with dynamics, then baffle them with bullsh*t :D

STILL not working, apparently not authorised by the tracker, does that mean I have to get another BitTorrent download?

Yup it appears the tracker has snuffed it :-(
if anyone knows a reliable-ish tracker that may be worth using, would be pretty usefull,
meanwhile anyone who wants the video I can send it direct file transfer via MSN or ICQ, see my profile for details.
