Nah, that makes it a nice ending and lessens the anticipation one would have thinking about that mysterious Hawk and Tor's fate.

As to the Prof., when exactly did that happen? I recall he did talk to Caran Belign from the Piranha, so the timiing was when he left the P. and entered the ready-to-depart alien vessel, correct?

Me much happier, thanks, I like this ending better, and I found the update on the demise of the professor very interesting too, I didn't think he would survive the trip

I was reasonably concerned with the system outage that the fate of the professor was going to be lost, or I wouldn't get to see the feedback. So it's good to see the site back up again.
