Hi I wonder if any one could tell me how to produce a post for this forum using word and copy it into the post itself.

I want to be able to properly edit and compose my posts to give them a more polished appearance but am stymied by an intermittent connection when I am producing a post.

Any help will be appreciated.

PS; Being of a certain age I am not conversant with the latest jargon and the computer courses I attended over a decade are no doubt irrelevant today so please reply as if you are speaking to a character in year one.

If i understand you correctly, you want to write the chapter in word then paste it on to the forum.

1: Write post in word
2: Highlight (left click and drag mouse across all text to be included)
3: Copy (CTRL+C)
4: Open up a new post in the forum
5: Paste (CTRL+P)
6: Submit and enjoy!

Thanks for the swift response Kaistern but I can't seem to do that as when I cut the document it wants to print it or send it to a note book ? and does not paste itself into the open post window.
Ah well looks like I will have to do it the old fashioned way.

That is because I messed up

Paste is Ctr+V.

Ctr+P is print

Thanks again for your swift response to my question's I will experiment before writing to far ahead of where I am now in word just in case of course.
I just hate the thought of having spent sixty quid on office for no real gain I must admit I will find it easier to keep track of my story in word than I can achieve at the moment when I have to write of the cuff.
