I'm still waiting on a chapter of a story that hasn't updated in almost 5 years. I can be patient.

Apologies, Dear Readers, I realize that I'm now a month late. The holidays proved to be far more distracting than I expected. I'm also contemplating the future of this tale and how to bring it to a conclusion. The fact of the matter is that the story has outgrown the game that gave it birth. Now I feel like I need to either allow the story to evolve in it's own direction or focus on completing the story and confine the tale within the limitations of the game. That indecision has been growing for quite some time and has become something of a roadblock.

So what do you guys think? Any thoughts?

In any case, I wish you all the best and hope you are thoroughly enjoying the holidays and the conclusion of 2019.

Cheers

Merry Xmas And Happy New Year !!

Glad to hear from you :) As an avid follower I believe you should write it based on how and what it has grown into. Write it from your imagination as it would certainly be a more fitting conclusion to such a great piece of work, and justly so.

This "story" started off as a game story but grew into almost 2 books :) Finish the right way, include some game plots if wanted but i think there is enough for you to flesh out a half dozen chapters (minimum) to wind it up.

Either way, its been a great journey and thanks to Scion and the rest for bringing this much to our screens. Do the story justice and finish it with a bang and not a whimper.

Since there are no such things as "upvotes" on this here forum, this cannot be said enough. The story always comes first - if that means it leaves the confines of gameplay so be it, I'd rather read a wonderful conclusion that is no longer rooted in gameplay than read about a gameplay conclusion to the story that feels lackluster compared to the chapters building up to it.

I agree with Olterin and blazermick here. If the story has grown beyond the limitations of the game then I think you should leave it behind, rather than having it limit you and potentially make for a worse story overall.
Besides, I think the last few chapters have proven beyond doubt that you are more than capable of continuing this story without any - in lack of better words - "assistance" from the game.

Hey all,
just a little update. I am writing. The past few days I've actually been hanging out with these crazy people in my head quite a bit. The next chapter is already fairly large, as in >30k words. A LOT is happening, much more than I expected to be writing about right now, honestly, but that's the way these things go sometimes. They take on a life of their own and reach through the keyboard, grab me by the throat and insist. Soooo... it's on the way. It really is.
Thanks for your patience.
Cheers and carry on.
