@SSWamp_Trooper: That beginning 'SSwamp_Trooper' intro part, isn't that the sound in the advertisements for Scifi channel on cable, lol? I like the vid btw,

I have to wait until the EB Games here decides to put it in the stores before I make any, considering X3:TC is out but not in any stores, -_-.

The intro part sound came from the first soundtrack in the X3:TC soundtrack folder (i think it was the first

)

. Btw, who are they signed by and... can we use X3R in the mean time?

(Also isn't it a little funny to give away a game which you know that you would need in the first place to enter the competition?)

Nice one. I loved the camera work you did during the battle sequence.

Metalvenom - so far in my opinion you have the best video there. If I may comment on it a little bit - preparation part is a bit too long. Also it would attract even more attention and interest if you could think up some story that resulted in the incident between these 2 destroyers.

Something like - "It was a usual day in terran space, as suddenly Xenon destroyer appeared out of nowhere. Nobody could guess either it was a malfunction on the starboard computer or simply a gesture of fate that this ship wandered into Terran space to it's own oblivion". It would allow audience to get involved with the 'movie' and give you some extra points

. Great job otherwise.

Hello everyone , this is my really really bad entry (if you can call it that)

I entered no because I think I can win, but because I love x3tc and egosoft

, the quality is really really bad because my pc is pathetic and fraps and putfile kill it even more.

I have used the trailer music because I know sometimes there are issues with copyright, and what not, oh and yes, Whitehawk Studios is me, I claim no part of X3TC at all, in any way shape or form, it’s just in there to show who made the trailer.

I hope you all enjoy it, please don’t take this seriously, I know it fails already, if I had more time I would have probably made it better, as it is I made it in half and hour, I personally hate it and would have liked have spent longer on it and but its already the 29th and I have things to do.

Second you have another month to make it great. The Comp does not end till the 30th of November, not October.

So go ahead, put in the time till you are happy with it. You have to put them on youtube to enter anyway.

holy hell XD, i didn't even realise =3, thank you for your encoragement, the link should work now, however i have descovered a bug, if you are useing windows media player 11, it superseeds putfiles own media player and causes most of the video to be cut off =s.

@Shadowgaz: A little hint: According to the rules, you are supposed to upload to youtube. You should do that with your final version, or your entry might not be accepted. Same rules for all

Youtube was chosen because its popular. Its quality is irrelevant. It guarantees maximum exposure for the game and videos. Choosing youtube made perfect sense. Choosing veoh or one of the other competitors would make no sense at all from a commercial point of view. In any case its in the rules, so lets not turn this thread into a screaming match about which site is better than the other and other irrelevant topics, ok?

As for using other forms of music my video did and I have not been notified it has been rejected, so take it as a given you can. And of course you should credit the artist that made the music. I always do, and I have bought so many albums from videos I have seen its not funny.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more entries.
