Good question.
That's why I won't use it, probably. I want my SPP to sell at 20-22. Let the BPH pick the best opportunity between those. OTOH, with SMS I'll be able to do just that: pick boundaries.....
Dunno yet. It looks more of an expensive funpackage to me than an actual profits pack.
I think you can set the minimum and maximum to whatever you want so you will be in control what profits you will make.

But I will install tonight and check everything out.
It could be a little complicated till we figure the SMS out.

Oh, not at all. Lots of text, but the summary is quite clear.

BUT: This adjustment isn't about demand. It's about stock. If the demand is high, I can sell a full factory supply at max.
I won't have a full supply then, but nevertheless. What's wrong about this thinking?

Not if you have minimum 19 and maximum 22 for EC.

Suppose you have a maxed Dolphin assigned to a SPP to sell.
Slow. So when he sold his wares (@ near max) the SPP refilled. The Dolphin then sells another 3000 @max. But not if you adjust the price. I believe, the selling price is set at loading time. That would be the low price.
I think, and I know the author confirms, that it isn't always profitable. And this package certainly isn't about profit.
But please correct me, if I am wrong.
Let's look it this way: convenience has it's price :)

Cos i've made so mcuh money, or i know the facts will, i just set the sms for deluxe. But i noticed that the sms set the selling price to max on the four facts i've ran it on!

Now one of those facts is a quantum tube fab, which is always a good little earner, and it has already sold 8 tubes at max price, but my SPP is also set at max (23), i can't see that selling. Its worth pointing out that at the mo it has no product to sell (does SMS act like NPC facts? Wherein if it has no product it has max price, and if plentiful a low price!)

The resource for the fact thjough is still the price i had previously set (1600)

Well lets install SMS and try it out and see what happens.

It was just a thought.
Anyway, to stay on topic, nobody so far has corrected me in the thoughts I had.
I mean, what's the point in lowering the price for crystals? Or Quantum tubes?

Unless I use lvl8 BPH with jumpdrive. It keeps my SPP empty easily. And if it doesn't, then my stock builds up. By that time the prices have gone up again...

Then you won't need to use that feature.

If you get your factory placement right you should be able to sell everything for max without using any selling ship but when things don't work perfectly a little help is useful.

The mainfeature of this script is the extern log... so i have only the german version but better you see the log before you say no. My report is only for 2 stationens and 50 minutes of play

I think most of the updates are for languages so i am going to install all again.

I think the main use is for buying not selling.
Take the SPP. If you have lots of crystals then 1684 is a good price to buy at and you can keep going like this for a long time. However if the stock of crystals is getting very low I would rather have my buyer go elsewhere and buy them to keep the stock going at a higher price. This should allow this to be done rather than the manual task that has to be done now.
